Do these panties really work in place of pads!?? My daughter is so afraid of leaking at school and I am looking for comfortable options for her.

Yes, they work quite well at preventing leaks.

Can you wear without pads of tampon's?

Yes, you can wear these panties withou pads or tampons.

My daughter is almost 13 and wears a size 5 in women's panties. I want to buy her these girls period panties but not sure what size. Shes 5'3 110 lbs

I hope that this will help. My granddaughter is 10 years old. Her height is 5 ft. Her weight is 68.7 lbs. Her body is lean but developing. Her hips are small. I bought size 8 for her and it fits perfectly. There is some stretch but it conforms nicely . It washes well and does not lose its elasticity.I hope this will help you to determine the right size to buy.

Do these work for everyday wear? My daughter, 9, hasn't started yet, but I'm looking for something as a "just in case" she gets her 1st period thing.

Yes, they work for everyday use. There is a seam on the backside of the underwear that would bother me, but don’t seem to bother my daughter. She wears them just in case.
