Really good RO machine producing great tasting water
I’ve had the Frizzlife WB99-H Countertop Reverse Osmosis System for 3 weeks. Pros: • Because of the high value, Amazon provide a security code to be given to the delivery driver in person. • Very well packed in a strong transit box. • The product seems to be of very good quality. • Easy to fit the water containers and filters. • Frizzlife also provide a tank cover to prevent green algae growth if machine is placed in direct sunlight. • The water tastes really good. Just what I was expecting and hoping for. • It is quite easy to use. There are 3 set temperatures, but you can also have ambient or select any temperature between 45c and 100c if you want by tapping "+" or "-". • There are 3 set quantities, but there is a continuous discharge / stop option too. • The last settings set remain the next time the machine is used unless the power has been switched off. • If you do not like the taste of alkaline from the smaller (SC) filter, there is a non-alkaline version available. • The water pitcher is a nice touch and useful to take a quantity to the table or even to fill a kettle if you have to make drinks for a large number of people. • The pitcher is quite slow to fill, but the dispensed flow of water (taken from the pitcher) is reasonably quick, even when heated. • It only makes a sound when the pump to filter water or dispense it comes on, but that’s quite quiet. Cons: • Frizzlife only guarantee the product for 12 months. I am surprised it is so short for a high end product and that it doesn’t offer an extended warranty with an online registration. • Not truly plug & play as stated in product video. On first use (or when filters are replaced) the system needs flushing by filtering 3 to 5 full tanks of water. Each tank cycle takes around 20 minutes – so at least an hour to complete. • The water pitcher is a bit big to easily put in my fridge for chilled water. I think it will be fine for a large modern or American style fridge. • UV sanitation only applies when water is dispensed directly at less than 60c. • You cannot permanently disable the child lock safety feature (if you don’t have children you could do without it). • If you have trouble lifting a normal kettle of water, then this may not be for you. The water tank cannot be topped up when it gets low, like some other products, because waste water is produced that has to be tipped out and the tank refilled from the tap before fitting it back. • It can sometimes be difficult to lift the tank off the machine. Observations: • Do read the owner’s manual in full before first using the product. • A full pitcher holds 1.4 litres and automatically fills from the bottom. • If the feed tank requires refilling, The machine will continue to dispense water until the pitcher is about 0.25 litres full. • The water tank holds 4.5 litres of water, but a bit over 1 litre of waste water is produced to be tipped away, so true capacity is approximately 3 litres. This equates to around 12 cups of 250ml and for two in the household we have to refill the water tank once and sometimes twice a day. However, if the water is in the feed tank for more than 48 hours, the change tank water indicator will come on anyway. • 4.5 litres of water is about 1 gallon and Frizzlife claim the main reverse osmosis filter is rated at 900 to 1000 gallons / 1 year service life, dependent on original water quality and the smaller filter should last around 3 months. • At the time of writing this, the main filter and a pack of 3 of the small filter costs £161 from Amazon, an average £13.40 a month over 12 months. However, you do get 1 of each filter with a new machine. • The machine displays a TDS ppm result post filtration. TDS is total dissolved solids and ppm is parts per million, and represents the total concentration of dissolved substances in water. TDS is made up of inorganic salts, as well as a small amount of organic matter. • Apparently, tap water can range between 150 to 400 TDS ppm. My unit displays filtered readings of mostly between 10 and 18 TDS ppm and occasionally as low as 2 and as high as 33 TDS ppm. The higher readings tend to appear when the feed tank is nearly empty. I think this is because of the higher concentration of waste water. I have not independently verified how accurate the readings are. • Frizzlife advise that the main reverse osmosis filter gets rid of 99.99% of 1000+ contaminants, including chlorine, lead, heavy metals, fluoride, mercury, volatile organic compounds, chloramine (derivatives of ammonia and organic amines), arsenic and much more. I think this is a great product and I recommend it based on the short time I’ve had it.

Definitely a five-star RO system! Highly recommended!!
First of all, this machine is fully assembled and all you need to do is to plug in and follow the clear instruction to finish the set up. As advertised, no need for complicated installations. Pros: --I'm truly impressed by the machine's beautiful design, and it does not take up too much space on my table. --One of the major factors that drove me to purchase this was its instant heating function. I now use it to brew my coffee every morning and I absolutely love the smooth taste it delivers. --The inclusion of UV light is unquestionably a bonus; it provides an extra layer of protection to my RO water. --The front pitcher is portable and I can grab it anywhere! I also plan to buy an extra pitcher, so I can have one in the fridge and one still on the system to dispense water. --I can hardly hear the noise when it is working. It is SUPER QUIET. --My tap water is hard and contains a lot of limescale. Obviously it removes the lime from my water. Cons (Now I realise it is my fault lol) --Initially I failed to install the SC alkaline cartridge properly, I did not get any filtered water in the pitcher as a result. So please make sure the SC square cartridge is pushed all the way in. You will hear a soft click sound. Here are a few tips that you may need to know: 1. Always empty the remaining water in the feed tank first before filling. 2. You can choose specific temp by tapping "+" and "-". Not only 3 temp modes

Convenient and Effective, but Some Drawbacks
The Frizzlife Countertop RO System is a great option for those who want purified water without complicated installation. It’s easy to set up—just plug it in, fill the tank, and it’s ready to use. The filtration performance is impressive, noticeably improving the taste and quality of water by reducing contaminants. The built-in TDS meter and smart touch panel make it easy to monitor filter life and water quality. However, the water dispensing speed is a bit slow, taking about 30 seconds to fill a standard glass, which can be frustrating. I also noticed some concerns about the company’s certification transparency, which is something to keep in mind. Overall, this is a solid countertop RO system that delivers clean water in a convenient package, but be prepared for the slower flow rate and do your research on certifications if that’s important to you.

Great fix for poor water quality.
The water in my rented accommodation is disgustingly. The two stage filtering has improved the water. I find it very very to use. 6 months in working well. It’s in constant use. It is quite big but there is a good spot on the counter for it. You need to make sure you can easily access the water reservoir at the back to be able to empty the water and refill.

Good
We are renting, so installing the under sink system was not an option for us. We liked this product so far: 1. Easy to use 2. Removed the bad taste and smell from water (basically the quality of water was not that bad initially) 3. Very handy as it have a hot water, so no need for kettle any more :) Also support is fast to resolve issue. The system start to show high TDS metrics after 3 months, we were offered the RO membrane replacement - and it fixed our issue. All was done in a couple of days.

Donc 4x SC90 + 1x FCR 100+ par an = EUR 161.98.

I love this system! after the set-up testing (pictured) I moved it to a small table near my room so it is closer than any faucet, and the water still always tastes great. Our municipal water treatment plant has been failing for elevated HAA5 for a few years and isn't going to be fixed until 2029 (best case timeline) so our tap water is literally carcinogenic. Also I live in an old house in an old neighborhood so we probably have lead pipes somewhere. People around me just drink bottled water but I hate all that single use plastic plus tap water is still being used for cooking. This reverse osmosis system fixes all of that. The water tastes so clean and good that even the bottled water people like it. The multiple dispensing options (4oz, 8oz, 17oz, and 1L) mean that I can easily fill a coffee cup or nalgene bottle while puttering around and circle back to pick it up whenever. For cooking I bring the whole pitcher into the kitchen. Also I know this is silly but it looks so sleek :-) It is almost totally quiet when filtering and will only beep at you when the reservoir is low. My plants love it too because I am watering them more often with the water remaining in the reservoir. I wouldn't get a RO system that produces waste water at 1:1 ratio but the Frizzlife system is more efficient, it does something like 1:4 i forget the exact ratio. When I am drinking enough water throughout the day I am also producing enough mineral-rich waste water for happy healthy houseplants. Its just cool, I love it, and I'm finally drinking enough water throughout the day. I have had the system set up in the same place for 2 weeks to test and it is working just as well as day one. I do wish that the reservoir had a little bit of a recess on the sides to make it easier to grip while lifting it out but the socket things for the lid works okay for that. I wish the reservoir lid had a little bit of a seal so water didn't ever splash out while carrying it full back to the system but I'm getting better at holding it steady to avoid that. Also during setup it looks like the cylindrical filter only needs to be turned a few degrees but it actually must be turned 90 degrees to be fully installed. If you only turn it a little then the cover will not be flush, I'm attaching a picture of it fully rotated. Also during the first 2 reservoirs of filtering the reservoir water will turn sort of white bubbly, thats probably why we're supposed to discard the first 3 reservoirs of water, I included a picture of that too. Its such a relief to finally know that my water is safe, without having to use and then toss dozens of single-use bottles. Bottled water testing is less stringent than municipal testing so they could have even higher HAA5 levels and we wouldn't even know. It is such a relief to not have to worry about all that. I love this thing.
