These are built surprisingly well. It comes with a card in the box like a product brochure that makes for a great template. Just trim the card to the same size as the actual 4" end of the vent. Now you got something to trace around to then cut your hole. I bought 3 of the 4" for a nice cedar 6x10 greenhouse. I put the vents on the south wall for the spring/summer time. Not looking to drastically cool the green house but just needed more airflow. I should have went a minimum of 6" as I am not getting the airflow I wanted with the 4" vents. My fault, I've should have known better. They have nubs in each corner so when you pop them in the wood they bite and help hold. I popped them in with plenty of clear exterior silicone. Held great. No holes in the front bezzle to put screws through. You could drill your own holes but they hold great with the bite of the nubs into the wood and silicone

This gable vent has a nice, clean look and feels solidly made. The aluminum alloy means no rust worries, and it fits perfectly for my shed. It was an easy DIY install, and it’s already helping with airflow to keep the inside cooler. Definitely a good buy.

It’s Aluminum not plastic , i have not installed it yet but taking it out of the box seemed rather well built, i will be ordering the 18 x 18 soon . Maybe it will go on sale again?

Looks okay but they expect you to just glue it to the wall. Should have predrilled holes that have reinforced backing to prevent it from deforming when tightened. The small slots should keep the bees from building nest between the slats like they did on the original wood vents I replaced.

This Zepoty aluminum gable vent looks great and works even better. Easy to install and the louvered design really helps airflow. The screen keeps out pests and debris, and the build quality feels solid. Highly recommend!

Our vent had been walled up, and we needed something that would fit the existing opening — this one worked perfectly! The built-in mesh screen is a nice touch, especially since we’ve had issues with pests in the past, so that extra reinforcement is perfect. Dimensions as described and build quality is good for an aluminum vent. There are no screw holes in the frame; this is supposed to be mounted with adhesive. Still, there's plenty of room on the flanges to drive screws if you need to. The screen is pretty sturdy and fine enough mesh to keep most bugs out. Overall, a decent product.

I needed a vent for my shed that I installed a generator in. This is a great size for it and allows a lot of airflow. Install was easy, and has fine enough mesh to keep most bugs out, but not so small as to impede airflow.

Used this to vent our crawl space under our house and it worked perfect! Allows air flow but no bugs and the size is perfect.

Need vent for a shed ordered this one. Liked the construction with the built in mesh. Held up great during installation. Ie held it shape and did defrom while being screwed in. Finish seems to be durable also . Has great air flow to keep shed ventilated. Good value for money.

It is quite nice just alittle pricy but.

Easy to install 2 years ago. Still functioning as expected.
