I have to wrap oscar award chocolate I made, would this conform to the chocolates so you they would look like actual awards?

I think it would. It's a little stuff, though. Gold foil squares would probably be easier, unless your statues are taller than 12 inches.

I am making a large round fruitcake for a neighbor. Would this work to wrap up the cake? I wanted a colored aluminum foil.

I would wrap it in Saran Wrap first and then wrap with the fancy foil. This foil doesn’t behave like aluminum foil so you might need some tape to secure it closed.
