Product worked as expected

Purchased for purposes of making my own nitric acid for gold refining. One of the ingredients is potassium nitrates, however, if you are looking to purchase this product for that purpose, be aware that in the pellet form they come in, an additional step of using a mortar and pestle will be required to get the pellets pulverized into a fine powder form first. I also garden and did add some pellets around some plants that were in a nutrient deprived soil area, the yellowing leaves and lack luster growth completely did a 180 turn around within a week or so after adding just a little bit out and around the perimeter of those plants. Super easy to use in a garden setting, just be sure to use the appropriate amount and not burn your plants up thinking more is better.

This product works just like it did when my dad showed me how to dissolve a tree stump. Drill numerous, 6-inch vertical holes in the stump, wet the surface thoroughly, and sprinkle on the potassium nitrate liberally. Wet again to saturate the powder without washing it off the stump. Now wait. Depending on the type of tree stump, it can take weeks or months to get good results. At my place, the stump could be broken up easily with an axe or heavy hammer.
