So far working good and I like it.

The day I put this in my aquarium, it has not moved suction cups are holding tremendously easy to use easy to set up and honestly the appearance looks very cool inside the tank. I hose the temperatures very well maybe twice a day it has to adjust my sucker fish love to eat any buildup on it and I’m pretty sure they enjoy the warmness when it’s running also an amazing product

I just repurchased this heater. The first purchase was great. I had it for about 2.5 years without an issue. I just set up the new one 3 days ago. Seemed to be working fine until my turtles began to act strange. I stuck my finger in the water the first night to check the temperature and it seemed fine…. Nothing happened when I touched the water. Tonight I again checked the water and was electrocuted!!!!! I immediately unplugged everything. My turtles seem to be alive but are not moving! My fingers to my elbow are still tingling from the shock…. I’m livid and extremely concerned.

These are great if you can look past the size. The aquarium in the picture os a 75 gallon. Its even hard to hide with wood and plants. There is a ln Eheim heater in there too, which you cant see. But that is glass and can break easily, not this one.

Super easy to set and install. Easy to read temperature. When used in appropriate size setup(109gal tank w/40gal sump) worked great. Used in smaller tank(25gals) and over shot set temperature.

Works great in my 135 gallon tank. Will get your operating temperature in your tank to where you want it quickly.

Purchased Nov 2023 and safely removed it and packaged up for summer. Now it won’t work for this winter. No way to tell why. This is sad because our turtle needs this and we spent a lot of money on something that only lasted 4-5 months. Dis anyone else experience this? Or how to fix it? It worked really well last winter.

***This is an UPDATE to my below review*** 27-FEB-2024, just over four (4) months after the purchase, the display is starting to go out in places - or at least display intermittently. I will be contacting Hygger to see what their response is. NOT happy about this! (Not saying that the temp isn't right, but the LED display has parts of the numbers "missing"/not displaying - I thought this type of LED issue had been resolved back in the 80s..... I was a bit skeptical about this (I got the 800W unit), and there are other brands with similar components & design. I had really wanted to get a heater that had an in-tank and an external digital temperature gauge, but those have limited options. I generally like the Hygger brand, so I thought I'd take a chance on it. While it's only been a couple of weeks, it has been very good with accurately and evenly heating my 125gal tank. It is always within 0.5 of a degree that it is set for (so far it has been slightly lower than the set temp). When it needs to heat, it does do that very quickly, and you can easily see when it is actively heating, as the large display turns RED and a line runs around the edges continually. The instructions recommend cleaning it once a month (honestly I've never really cleaned any of my heaters before, but I will with this one). I will update should anything go wonky with it, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will last a good long time!
