Fitvids 2" Olympic Bumper Plate Weight Plates with Steel Hub, 15LB, Pair

Can't beat the price for these. It's hard to find anything for $1 per pound. As others have said, they are coated with some chemical that really reeks (and I have no idea how toxic it is, so I handled these with vinyl gloves). I washed them all down with dishwashing liquid before use and the stink dissipated fairly quickly. Plates shipped in pairs were weighed and all were accurate enough and closely matched. Plates shipped individually all had a tag indicating they had been weighed and were also closely matched. I can't say if the plastic is tough enough to survive having a loaded barbell dropped to the floor, but it seems if that's your style you'll also be lifting on a moderately padded floor.

Great accessory but leaves black on hands after few uses

These plates were definitely a steal. They are large and on the thin side which is what was looking for. Only down side is the horrible burned rubber scent,however, considering the good price on these, I'll just let them air out on my patio. They'll be fine.

Very nice plate, so glad to see these on sale. You can buy these things used for $1 a pound if you really look but most people want more since they are bumper plates. Great lettering, nothing fancy just good old bumper weight plate.

The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the white paint on the letters peels so bad when it touches up against another weight. I literally had to scrub it off!! Other than that they are great!!

It works as intended. I pickem up and put ‘em down. The smell was not as strong as I imagined. I thought they smelled new.
