My twins use them as their blankie etc. My 7yr old still sleeps with them too. My boys won't wear bibs anymore, but I need them to sometimes. They actually don't mind these. The only problem is...they want to use them as a small blanket instead of a bib. They don't want to put them down. They are very soft. They are actually perfect to keep in the car so they aren't dragging around a full blanket. Plus if we go out I can throw it on as a bib.
