Sumifun 4% Lidocaine Pain Relief Patches 30 Count(Pack of 1)

Went to visit a friend who was dying of cancer and in terrible pain. I threw a hail Mary and ordered some of these...oh...myyyy.....straight from the hand of God. They go on, stay on, and WORK! SERIOUSLY - they WORK! They'll numb just about any area because they can be cut to be smaller or to 'go around.'Pro tip - put the package (not the box [/laughing] just an individually wrapped one) under your arm, or against your skin for a minute before applying because of course when someone is hurting, applying a big ol' slap of COLD isn't helpful!They reallllly helped ease her out of this world, and since then I've bought them by the box-full for in-laws, my parents, even the teens/young adults when they've injured something. It's like an easy to apply second-skin of novocaine that can't 'escape' or leak. You don't even know they're on, after the initial [big eyes] whammy of the cold. I don't need to know /why/ they work, I can just tell you, they DO! Scent isn't much, there's no residue when you remove them...absolute WINNER! Well DONE Sumifun!

I have to be honest and declare I had little faith in this product. I am a fan of another product on Amazon but I am still curious; could this Lidocaine help alleviate my carpal tunnel’s discomfort? This is what I found out. The patch is odorless except when I take it out from its envelope. I cut the patch easily in 4 pieces to fit the center of my hand. It stays in place unless I get it wet! Don’t do it! Cutting it in short lines allows me to place them on other parts of my hand. Adhesion being paramount to achieve pain relief gets a thumbs up! I personally do not feel a cooling effect on my hand, but the pain subsides and I congratulate myself for making a good choice.

This is a lengthy review however there are some tips for using this and other lidocaine patches. I’ve tried Salon Pas, Aspercreme, a couple of the off brands, this Sumifun lidocaine patch is by far the best patch I’ve used. Plus it’s a great value. I haven’t had to throw away ONE patch yet because of patch defect, lining defect, didn’t stick, etc.First of all…I have many anomalies in my lower back. I was given prescription samples of 5% lidocaine and the ingredient in Voltaren. It’s an excellent patch, however I do not qualify for that patch medically (strange, but it is what it is). These Sumifun patches use the same gooey gel, fabric backing, plastic liner as those prescription patches. Those script patches are 24 hour patches, and I’ve worn these Sumifun OTC’s for 24 hours and they’ve stayed put! They are also VERY effective at relieving pain. My pain is pretty bad too as it nauseated me sometimes.Tips!1. Wipe the area you’re going to apply the patch to with rubbing alcohol before you do anything! This will remove any skin oils and give the skin a chance to dry while you cut open the envelope and remove the patch. This is especially important for those of you who wear close-fitting clothing, leggings, slim fit jeans, turtlenecks if you wear the patch on your neck.2. If you have a lower back problem like I do? TAKE YOUR TIME for the first few tries and expect to use at least a couple of patches as they do tend to fold on each other and stick like glue! At first you CAN peel them apart! If you have a trusted partner have them apply the patch for you.3. After you pull the patch from the envelope you’ll see a fabric side and a shiny plastic side. The plastic side is the lining that needs to be removed. Remove it by taking a corner and rubbing the layers against each other so the plastic side gets exposed so you can easily grab it.4. Only expose the patch and medicine a little bit as this prevents the patch folding on itself. Straighten the pain area out as much as you can (bend over for lower back, bend the knee, etc.) so the skin is as taut as possible. Then gently apply the patch to the skin and remove the lining as you apply. After it is applied stretch the patch as far as it will go and smooth the patch so there is complete contact with the skin.5. Give yourself an ahhhhhh like I always do and about 5-10 minutes for the patch to adhere to the skin before putting on tight fitting clothes.I hope this review and these tips help you! Effective, but doesn't stick very well .. feels more like slapping old cooking grease on you from the amount of gel on them .. but they definitely soothe aching muscles

These patches are amazing! I’ve already purchased several boxes for myself, my mom, and other family members. They provide so much pain relief, even for menstrual cramps.!!! They can feel a little cold at first, but it’s absolutely worth it. They’re long-lasting, comfortable, and so lightweight that you barely notice you’re wearing one. Highly recommended!Definitely getting more...

I use the patch on my back and it starts working immediately! Using this patch let's me have a good night's sleep! I recommend sumifun patch highly! It stays where i put it. I have sensitive skin and this is the only patch I will use.

These Sumifun lidocaine patches worked okay for me. They are easy enough to use and the 30-count pack is convenient to have around when you want a topical patch instead of a cream or gel.I would not say they were amazing, but they did the basic job. Like most patches, placement matters, and they are best for areas where the patch can sit flat and stay in place.Overall, they are an okay option if you are looking for a simple lidocaine patch, but my experience was more "works fine" than outstanding.

Too expensive.
