Inconsistent Colors, But Very Nice Product!
I ordered two of these Liberty Garden hose butlers in "Bronze". They came in at the same time, in identical boxes, with identical part numbers, the same hang tags and marking. However, one was the brownish "bronze" color as expected (see picture below) and the other was black and pewter (i.e. antique silver-ish) as shown in some of the sample pictures down in the listing description. Fortunately, they were destined for opposite sides of the house, so the color difference wasn't a major issue for me. Just be aware that it's a grab bag as to what you will receive and other reviewers report receiving the wrong color, as well. As for the product, these butlers are great! Super easy install if you mark and predrill, then use a longer screw driver or extension on your drill. They look fantastic and feel really solid once mounted securely. I currently have each of mine loaded with 50 feet of solid rubber hose (heavy) and they don't give at all. I'm really happy with both of them, even with the color difference, and the ornate style really helped to clean up the look of both my front entry and back yard! Highly recommended!

Better than the box store quality.
About the same cost at a local box store but this is much better quality and thicker mounting base. Wanted aluminum s live near the coast and steel with rust in a short time. Have a 100' contractor hose and there is still more space for hose.

Light weight
I like the look of this product, and it seems well made. Lighter weight than expected. Only time will tell whether it is sturdy enough.

Do this for far easiest install how I did it .............. Great Quality Product Recommend
I bought 2 of these. They work and look great I had read some reviews on difficulty of installation. Theres no install directions written in boxes. So I took a few moments and decided a different way vs all earlier installs, First of all totally forget using any hand screwdriver and never use phillips head screws. . The solution is hex head outdoor screws. I used blue Tapcons into brick. Tapcons are a outdoor masonry screw that are unique high low threads that bite right into masonry/brick and are a great attachment, They do make phillips screws and avoid all together. They sell them in packs with the exact drill bit needed and hex head screws all together. Very easy to use Tapcons you use correct size brick drill bit and simply tighten up I looked at the sizes of Tapcons and chose long 1/4" Since I bought 2 Hose hangers I bought some extra Bosche Hammer Drill bits longer length. I used my Porter Cable Hammer Drill best bang for buck. I world advise not drilling into the mortar joints. Easy to drill but doesn't adhere to wall well. Do I drilled the holes straight into brick, Easy anyway with a hammer drill and good bits, Next I used a wider washer under the head of each Tapcon for added strength, I spray painted my hose reels the day before with the highest quality Rustoleum black. I hand held the reel to the wall and leveled it. Then took a small black Sharpie felt tip marker and put 6 alignment dot marks of the outline of the hose reel dots on the wall. I also marked the drill holes with the same felt tip marker. Next I flipped over the hose reels and applied 100% clear silicone on all raised edges on the back of the reels. The last thing I now could do vs all other reviews is to them up with a 1/4" hand ratchet instead of beating myself up with a stubby screwdriver. Theres a lot of torque and easy using a hand ratchet to crank the screws in. So this was a brick install. And the hose reel is never coming down. Do it once right and its forgotten,,,,,,,,,,,,,If I were doing into wood I would use galvanized hex heads only. You could use a plain drill on that application shoot some clear 100% silicone into each hole. I would still use a large washer under the head of the galvanized screw ( not zinc plated) that rusts. I am a lot like my father was taking a few extra steps on any project. But the results really pay off. Its put up to last Good Luck.

Great value
This is just what I needed for my water barrel hose. Doesn't take up a lot of space yet holds plenty of hose. Well constructed, and looks real nice also.

Great water-hose holder!
This is a great water-hose holder. The front-support section is 12" in diameter. It is attached to the mounting- bracket with three 6" long stand-offs. They are attached to the mounting-bracket with Philips-head screws. It could be dismantled. I don't know how the attachment is made to the front-support...maybe welded or maybe 6" long screws are used inside the stand-offs. There are four mounting holes on the mounting-bracket. The spacing is 7.875" across the horizontal-positioned holes. The spacing is 4.375" across the vertical-positioned holes. No hardware is provided. I believe 1/4 - 20 screws would provide adequate support. The front-support has a finished back (flat) but the mounting-bracket has elevated-reinforcing metal in the field and around the screws. I was going to mount this on a metal post that has three individual vertical posts (1.25" square) and several horizontal stiffeners (0.25" bars). The sides of the mounting-bracket would stick out past the post and the back would show. I got a box-type water-hose enclosure instead. I might use this water-hose holder attached to a chimney. Not looking forward to drilling into brick though.
