These Lightwish brushes use synthetic bristles that are extremely soft and have less bounce than my usual brushes. it took a little getting used to but once I did I fell in love with these brushes. they also hold tons of water or paint in the bristles. The volume they hold is actually pretty amazing. I bought this smaller set to try it out, but I think I will buy the larger set soon. For someone like me that doesnt paint professionally and cannot justify the high cost of professional grade brushes with natural hair bristles, these are a very good and affordable alternative.
