Digital Ultrasonic Flow Meter TUF-2000B Liquid Flowmeter IP67 +TM-1 DN50-700mm

WARNING: Works only for pipes 2 inches diamater or larger. That's what the "DN50" pipe size means. I didn't realize that and mistakenly bought this for 1-1/4" pipes. I was able to get everything set up per the manual, but couldn't get it to work on my pipes. I re-read the manual and realized the "TM-1" transducers it comes with only work on larger pipes. If your pipes are less than 2" diameter, you need different transducers. Other Amazon sellers sell this same unit with the smaller transducers, so make sure you read the "DN" pipe size listed (in millimeters) and confirm that it will work with your pipe size.You have to wire the transducers to the main box yourself, with provided wire. And the manual is very complicated, but I was able to figure out the programming process. Only problem was the transducers are the wrong size for my pipe.

We needed a water meter that was easy to install. This one sounded like it met the bill and was very inexpensive. It looked nice but the instructions were awful. Not enough information to install the meter and I was afraid to think about the setup/operating portion were like. Returned the day after receipt and bought a mechanical meter.
