POV: Your leggings save you from a cold, painful fate.I lived in these leggings when I was pregnant. Hubby and I went hiking in early June up to some alpine lakes still covered in snow and ice. While taking some pictures, the ice gave way and my entire left leg fell into the lake, with the leggings catching on a branch around the hip. Not only did my leggings not tear, there wasn't a single scratch on my leg. Furthermore, they were completely dry in about fifteen minutes so I didn't even have to suffer the cold for long.Leggings: 1 Frozen Lake: 0I own many pairs of these leggings and will never buy any others. They're super comfy, durable, high quality AND they have pockets. What more could a girl want?

I purchased two pairs of the one size in black. They both arrived together and while they look the same, the fabrics are slightly different. One is a little bit stiffer and thicker and the other is a little softer and more flexible. It’s just slightly noticeable. I’m keeping them because there’s nothing wrong with either one of them and I like them both. But now I get why so many people are buying these. I don’t think I’ve had any quite like them and I’ve been through a lot of leggings ever since the 80s lol. I will probably buy a couple more to have on hand. I’m going to check and see how the material is for the next two pair I buy. It’s only a slight difference, but the softer thinner ones came in a different plastic bag. Like maybe it was a return without the original bang. But it doesn’t look like it’s ever been worn or used and they both had the same tags. Oh well, I wonder if there’s anyone else who ended up with with two pairs that weren’t exactly the same weight material.

Soft, yet thin material. Colors are accurate. Would purchase again to wear with longer shirts or sweaters. Nice for a lazy day at home.

Close to half come from Victoria Secret, THESE LEGGINGS ARE BETTER QUALITY! I don’t want to bore you with a long strong winded lengthy post so I’m going to get right down to the bullet points on REASON WHY YOU SHOULD BUY:• (my top most important reason) these leggings are the SOFTEST leggings I have ever worn...by a landslide! (Material polyester and spandex) but feel a lot like Modal.. similar to brands LuLaRoe and Butter but in my opinion SOFTER• MASSIVE STRETCH FACTOR! Yes they are one size, I am 5ft even and 173lb and SLIM ONE SIZE fits me just fine with lots of room left to stretch!• LENGTH IS longer on me, but I am only standing at 5ft I’m not bothered by extra leg room or alittle ankle scrunch and I def don’t mind hiking these bad boys super high waist!• WAIST LINE has the wide band for “added support” not too tight yet just tight enough to be comforting yet HOLD YOU IN. I also do not notice them doing the dreded slide down effect where you have to keep pulling them up. THATS ALWAYS A PLUS!• COLOR IS GORGEOUS! I purchased the “old rose” and also the “mauve” (leaving you two separate reviews) the OLD ROSE COLOR is what’s attached to this review, it’s slightly more of a softer color then the picture, which I actually prefer. It’s mauve(ish) but with alittle more pink tint to it. Subtle hue PERFECT PINK NUDE TINT• THIN BUT NOT SEE-THROUGH I prefer thinner rather then fleece style, if your looking for thicker warmer material I wouldn’t recommend these. Several years ago I bought leggings from another company just like the ones this Amazon company is selling. In fact, I was looking around Amazon’s Marketplace for these exact pants and found them with these leggings. One thing I like with these leggings is the price!! WOW! They are also very soft and good quality. However, what I like even more is how one size fits most women. We don’t have to decide what size or what length to buy when buying these pants.The upmost thing I like most about these leggings they expand right along with me. When I enjoy the holiday season or other festival times it is nice to be able to get into my clothes. My scale becomes a traitor, but I don’t want my clothes to be one. With other slacks I lie down on the bed holding in my tummy tight to zip in the holiday cheer. Then walking around with tight clothes makes me feel like my body is choking. Not only that there can be a worry about seams coming loose. With these slacks they expand with me and I don’t worry about body chokes or disasters from seams.I read other reviewers comments how the color comes out washing them and how the color fades, especially with darker colors. I totally understand the frustration of this because the leggings I bought several years ago had the same problem. It was frustrating because I truly like the pants and my black colored leggings were fading. Not only that the washing machine water turned black when washing them. I realized it was not a good idea to wash them with other clothing because the dye can come off and stain other clothing.As consumers we need to preserve the longevity and the vibrancy of these special leggings. We don’t want to keep buying them. I read an article that told how to prevent this. First you remove stains off the leggings and then turn them inside out to wash. Instead of using regular clothes detergent use Woolite. Most clothes detergents can be harsh on clothing dyes but Woolite focuses on preserving the vibrancy of all deep hue dyes. They were right....it worked! I then started treating these special leggings like dedicate clothing and even allowing them to air dry. They stayed like new.You also can wash them in pure castile soaps instead of Woolite. This is also a quality delicate detergent. I used Dr. Bronner’s Castile Soap washing them and it worked as well as Woolite. However, there are other castile soap brands available from the Amazon marketplace or you can find them in some of your hometown supermarkets. I was planning on using Cheer Color Guard to see how it works on my special leggings. The good news is there are options out there to preserve the dyes of these special slacks. There are some good companies that sells good products to help us preserve our clothes such as these leggings.One thing I do know....I LOVE these SATINA Leggings!
