Can't say enough about this as a microwave steamer. I steam everything from sweet potatoes to vegetables. Food steams quickly in the microwave and cleanup is super easy. The included chart is really helpful, and seems to be spot on for my pretty average over-stovetop microwave. The glass and silicon seal are sturdy, so it seems like this will last for years. I've had a few other microwave steamers, one from a popular "chef" brand that were made out of plastic, and they never steamed vegetables evenly because they didn't seal correctly. Worth the money.

Very happy with product. Cooks vegetables in the microwave beautifully. I have never mastered vege cooking with plastic containers, so have always avoided it. Good for porridge too, no spill overs.
