I bought these hoping he would like them instead and luckily he absolutely loves them! I give him some on the days where he was not so "solid" and these do the trick. I love that they are just pure freeze dried pumpkin so I know they are healthy for him. They are very small and the price is a tad high for these tiny little puffs but as long as my dog likes them I'll keep buying them.

**Q: What part of the pumpkin is this made from?  Just the flesh or does it include the rind and/or seeds?**
A: Flesh only

**Q: Are they crumbly?**
A: There were some crumbs and powder at the bottom of my bag, but overall, the pumpkin treats are not crumbly and flaky like freeze dried chicken breast or turkey. The squares are a spongy texture but somewhat firm—they don’t disintegrate into dust easily. Hope this helps.

The five adopted cats who live me did not find these to be a food. They sniffed and said no thank you. I put this rejected pricey bag of treats out on the deck for the creatures of the night. The Raccoons, Possums ate a few, not all, the next morning Chipmunk Nation carried the last away. I wanted this to work, sounds healthy, but the cats have the final say. (For the record, they have a teaspoon of organic pumpkin puree in their breakfast each day, so it's not the pumpkin smell that caused them to go thumbs-down.)
