Are there plans to produce a new version with a longer handle and/or an adjustable one? I like the design but something this short is not practical.

Dear buyer friend, thank you for your suggestion, we will discuss with the designer to add a long shoulder strap and adjustable shoulder strap design; thanks again, let us look forward to the new version of the computer bag, wish you a happy life.-----LOVEVOOK

Is there a cross body strap other than the shoulder strap?

There is not a cross body strap.

is this leather or vegan?

Not real leather. Straps are weird though. Does not stay on my shoulder.

Will this bag hold my laptop, 40 oz water bottle, and lunch with extra room for other items?

Yes.. I have a laptop, book, 2 - 3 ring binders, and a zipper 3-ring binder in mine along with pens and pencils in the zipper part.. And I’d probably be able to get a water bottle in there but won’t because of my computer. Love this, best thing I’ve bought to carry my things.
