Surprisingly Impressed - modern, bright, attractive, loud -- almost perfect
I bought this clock for my daughter (5) as a backup alarm. For the money, I didn't expect much. I am really pleased with this purchase. Pros: - Display is Aesthetically Pleasing The display is big and bright. I really like the clock font - it's very attractive and neat. - Display is Customizable The ability to change the color on the display really allows the clock to adapt to the room. This is something I didn't really expect to be as important as it feels now. - Nightlight on Snooze Button = Nice Touch Having the top snooze button act as a night light is a really nice touch. It's distracting to me and I turn it off, but for young children, this could be a plus. The night light is also customizable - it can be set as several different colors or turned off. - Alarm Volume is Adjustable For hard sleepers, the highest alarm wake setting is very loud. I don't imagine that anyone would sleep through this highest setting. There are four levels, so somewhere between the very light alarm noise to this one should provide an option for everyone. Cons: (There aren't many - I'm almost nitpicking) - Setting the Clock Is a Bit Unintuitive Overall, the buttons on the back and the top of the device to set the clock feel a SLIGHT bit unintuitive, but this isn't a criticism of this clock alone. I bought a similar clock from IKEA this week and it works the exact same way. I'm used to holding the 'Clock' or 'Alarm' button and then pressing the "+" and "-" button to set the clock. The new clocks have you hold down the alarm buttons for a few seconds. It's easy to pick up, but just might take some getting used to. - Alarm Can't Be Set for Certain Weekdays One great thing about a phone or a voice assistant is that you can set an alarm for Mon-Fri or whenever your work days are. This clock has two alarms, but you'll need to turn them on/off depending on the day. I'm not used to having to remember on Friday night to turn off my alarm to sleep in on Saturday. Summary: I really like this clock. It's visually appealing, has a loud alarm, is very customizable and a great option for the money. The nitpicks about not being able to set different alarms for days of the week or the interface being a bit unintuitive are small. Buying a clock *did* make me appreciate the features that my smartphone has -- things that you just don't get with a basic alarm clock. But for those who don't want their phone in the bedroom or if you don't want your child to have a smartphone in the room (or they're too young to have one), this really works as a nice alternative. I bought the clock for my daughter, but I'm strongly considering this for my home office as a persistent visual clock that restricts me from having to pick up my phone or check my wrist.

Great alarm clock
Love this alarm clock. I have bought this same one 3 times. One for me, one for my daughter, and one for my sister. It's easy to work. The alarm is super loud. The colors of the numbers can be changed.

Decent for the price
So I must say when I took it out the box there were no instructions so I pretty much figured it out on my own. Now, when I first plugged up, it wasn’t getting no power so finally once I push the cord into the back of the box a little bit more that’s when I got power so if you buy this, please make sure you push the cord all the way in into the back of the alarm clock. I set it up and tested with an alarm to see how loud it was and it was pretty loud. Those lights do get bright on the alarm clock, so I dimmed mine.

Ergonomically bad design, too easy to accidentally change the settings
The cons: (1) The controls are on the back, so when I grip the clock to change the alarm settings, it is too easy to accidentally change other settings. (2) The USB cable juts out in the back. It is not snug and wiggles, so the display can be intermittent. There is no strain relief on the cable. Good design would mean setting up the USB port sideways so that the cable slips sideways, along with a couple of notches to prevent strain on the cable. It would also allow the clock to be placed flush with the background, if that’s what the user wishes. (3) The light on top is nice, except that it is a single cycles through all the lights. Say I want the red light on, I have to cycle through white, blue, green, magenta, then red. That’s 5 clicks. Then to turn it off, I have to cycle through yellow, cyan, then off. That’s 3 clicks. This means that each time I turn the light on or off, instead of going thru 2 clicks, I have to go through 8 clicks—and count along the way. That’s 4 times more wear and tear on the button. (4) Too much flipping from front and back to set the alarm. Here’s how it goes: - click TOP alarm button - long-click TOP button for the hour to flash - look at BACK to locate + or – buttons and make sure your fingers are on them only and don’t shift to other buttons - look at the display on the FRONT - click the + or – to adjust (hopefully I correctly memorized which finger is on the left button and which on the right) - click TOP alarm button for the minutes to flash - look at BACK to locate + or – buttons and make sure your fingers are on them only and don’t shift to other buttons - look at the FRONT of the display - click the + or – to adjust (hopefully I correctly memorized which finger is on the left button and which on the right) - click the button on TOP to set - WAIT 5 seconds for current time - click TOP alarm button to verify that I set correct alarm time - WAIT 5 seconds for the current time. Repeat to set the second alarm. In short, it is ANNOYING. The pros: (1) The display is pretty. (2) There is battery backup. (3) There are two alarms. (4) It is fairly loud. I thought it would be louder, but that’s a very subjective matter.

Good but a few things
I wanted a portable alarm clock for travelling. I've realized that the clock on a phone just isn't enough. Throw this in a backpack and you're clear. Large screen size, USB ports, and being powered by USB c were the main reasons I chose this one. A few items to note though. A) great selection of colors. I chose red cause I thought that was the dimmest B) display scratches easily. Put it in a backpack during a trip removed it and it's scratched up. Not deep scratches but like piano black scratches. Once the clock is on its not there but something to note C) I had this plugged into a USB wall plug that had 2 USB ports each time I unplugged my phone it'd reset the clock. There is a battery backup thing which is nice, but I'm not sure how much I'll use it as it's only a travel clock Overall works well for my use case. I don't think I'd want this as my normal alarm clock just cause
