I originally bought a pack of 2 from this brand, but those were way too bright and I needed to buy batteries. These are amazing. You are shining a light in patients' eyes, you don't want to blind them. These get the job done but do not blind you. They are extremely affordable, compared to others, and don't need batteries. If it dies(which takes a while) just grab another one for your stash. You can keep one in every bag to always have them. just amazing

I was skeptical at first because of the few reviews I saw about only receiving one light when six were advertised, my experience was perfect. I purchased these for nursing school because they have the pupil gauge and came in a pack of six lights, not to mention the price couldn't be beat! I now have extras to share with other students if they forget theirs. When I received them all of the penlights are just as described. They were all in working order with adequate brightness and clearly marked pupil gauges. I really liked how they were packaged with not only the cardboard sleeve for the clip to hang on but with the plastic protective sleeve on each penlight to prevent them from being left on during shipping and wearing down the battery. Needless to say, I'll be ordering another pack of 6 with my next purchase from Amazon.

I received the six pen lights. They work as advertised. Batteries already installed. The pen lights up by tapping the pocket clip to the side opening of the pen. You must hold down the button to continue getting light. There is a pupil measurement guide along the side. Sturdy metal clip shouldn't break off. The light is not a bright white LED but rather a dimmer warmer light. Perfect for quick optical checks. Great value, even if they don't end up lasting too long. And you can keep one at work, one at home, and one in the scrubs you tossed somewhere and don't even remember walking off with a pen light.

I bought a pack of these penlights to share with my co-workers. They easily can be attached to any pocket and are great quality! We've been using them for over a year & the lights and batteries still work fine!

Good, cheap reliable pen lights. Don’t really stress if I lose one. They come with a plastic sleeve protecting the button so they don’t accidentally turn on and waste battery. Just know they aren’t made to have the batteries replaced, you throw them away when they run out.
