The higher RPM is around 780-800rpm **Q: Are the batteries used in this a one off, or do they work on any other matabo tools?** A: If they use same type battery **Q: I cant find replacement batteries on Amazon. Has anyone been able to find them in a store somewhere?** A: Looking up "Hitachi DB3DL2 battery" I found at least 4 results returned of suitable batteries; 3 "aftermarket" from a different company, and one "official" from Hitachi themselves.
