Very useful and easy to install.
I love this thing. I purchased this to make sure my load was balanced between the legs in my breaker panel. It was very easy to install and connect to my Wi-Fi. I was able to do everything with my phone standing next to the module, never needed the ethernet connection. I have had it installed for about a week now and have mine set up to show current draw instead of power as I am more concerned with the load on my panel than power consumption. One thing to note during installation is the sensors do not have a "flow" direction on them and you can install them backwards. This is super simple to change though, so if you get a negative reading, just unclip them and turn them around. It will save some time if you check this prior to closing your panel back up. Also, play with the website some, there are several different settings to chose from to get it just how you want to see it. The only con I see with this is that there is no app, so you have to go to the website every time to view your information.

Excellent for Sub-Metering and Real-Time Monitoring
We’re using this in a nonprofit setting to sub-meter a separate building, and it has worked perfectly for that purpose. Installation was straightforward, and once configured, it immediately began providing clear, real-time electricity usage data. The readings have been consistent and reliable, which is critical when the data is being used for billing and accountability rather than just general monitoring. What really makes this system valuable for us is how it integrates into our reporting process. We’ve automated a monthly usage report that is distributed simultaneously to both the renter and the building owner, making the payment process transparent and straightforward. Having accurate, real-time data feeding that report eliminates guesswork and avoids disputes. While it supports solar net metering, we’re strictly using it for sub-metering and cost allocation, and it performs exceptionally well in that role. For organizations needing dependable energy tracking with practical reporting applications, this has been an excellent solution.

Great stats, a little buggy, but great customer support
For an overall view of your energy usage, it does a decent job. The interface could be better and it lacks a phone app, but it has some nice data and useful tools. Too bad it requires a sign-in to their cloud service. The connection is unreliable, and I get multiple emails per day saying it lost connection. I tried running an ethernet cable but the problem still remains. Also, the ethernet cable is not hot swappable. If your switch power cycles or you unplug the cable, you will have to pull the power and plug it back in. Their instructions also state you cannot use an ad blocker in your network, so that's a huge red flag. But, their customer support is excellent. Regardless the problem, they will work diligently to solve it. Bumping my rating to 4 stars.

It really works. This is a very good product.
This is a very high tech, awesome piece of equipment. HOWEVER, I am an Information Tech professional, and I found it challenging. It DOES work. Its very nice. But call your favorite geek to help you install it. It installs in 1/2 an hour... but, you gotta be a GEEK to get this thing running. I recommend.

difficult to understand the basics if you aren't an electrician
So far, I am super confused, as is my electrician. It's not clear to me where to look for the information I am trying to find. And the information presented doesn't explain itself.

Works but with issues!
After lots of Yutube videos.... I finally pulled the trigger on this Eyedro whole home monitor. One of my many bad choices in life I guess, I'll explain in-depth to help guide others who may be an almost tech-nerd like myself... First up the good... Installation was a breeze (except wifi connection which is picky), price was great and build quality looked good. I liked the screens and the reports it could display. The shunts were large enough (3/4") for my 200a main lines. Of course you have to be very careful not to touch any live wires but overall install was a no brainer. Wifi would not connect, I have an Orbi 6GHz Mesh router (but downscaling to 2.4GHz IoT for this device) all with full bars at location of the myeyedro module, but being the device doesn't connect initially, you do it through your phone and then drop the connection to the device.... I guess I had a firewall or something blocking it so I wired it to the Lan connection with a Cat 8 cable I had laying around... Immediately worked then. Now the bad. A couple of major ones; the unit does NOT use an app, or basically said... have the units gathered info sent directly to a your local phone, tablet or iPad (via your Wifi or Ether-Lan). Some of the competitor units do this, but locally?, the Eyedro unit does not. The Eyedro unit gathers then sends this info to a "cloud" ...or in layman's terms "a server storage unit" ...somewhere?... this could be USA, could not, but this is not entirely the issue of concern. It's their server(s) bandwidth or I/O. So let's think about this... The signal (your homes usage values at the current time) leaves your house and has to go out via Wifi (or Ethernet) to their servers, get processed, recorded,, then it gets displayed (in some form of lag time) to your screen, which could be your phone, tablet or even PC/Laptop. Now that I explained that overview above, here lies the problem. And, I will confess, It's actually okay sometimes, it will never be pure instantaneous, another words you turn on your microwave and then there will always be a "Lag" of sorts to display this new power draw.. Okay, you can put up with this "IF" it was consistent and short enough lag wise (maybe). So I had many times of millisecond delays (very acceptable), and I also had times with several seconds, and even a minute!..... So why? Easy. As mentioned above, the reading is not coming locally (directly). It has to go out to the my.eydro server(s) and back to your device. Having this middle man in between your myeyedro device and your display device introduces possible delays or problems (like even their servers or T!/Fiber lines being down). I noticed very late at night to be the least lag time. Days were good sometimes, laggy others. It's the I/O or bandwidth usage. Now, My.eyedro could potentially fix this with more allocation or servers, but you'll always be at their mercy. Bandwidth is the gem of the ENTIRE web based industry, it's where all the buck$ come in and who decides to either barely cover their current demand/usage(s) or to overshoot I/O with expansion headroom covered. My.eyedro is at least 7 years old. Did the have headroom back then and now it's at it's threshold or above? I personably do not know but can tell you that if they were app driven (locally) this would not be of concern. My strong advice!?... Get a power monitor that reads directly to an app, not a cloud service. Another tidbit I can throw in is... Check with your Grid/Power company, Smart meters are being populated (installed) in many areas. It's a free upgrade from your Power Company and you can then use (FREE) apps that read directly from your homes smart meter (yes, that globe looking device on the side of your house). I know some Power-Monitor Apps (Sense is one) that works with these AMI Power Meters; very well at that. Some of these new installed meters are even coming with there own software (apps) that you can use as well as some mobile displays/monitors. This overall is a "Smart" decision, you'll get what you want in power monitoring, your Power Co. gets what they want; and that is to not send out a worker to read your meter every or every other Month. Saves you, saves them! Peace out, hope this helps others! :) KJ Miller Geneva NY

Highly Recommend. Great product and features for the price
I've been using this item for about 10 months now (actually I order 2 and use one for my home and the other for my parents house). I have never had an issue with the quality of the product. The website app can be used easily on a mobile device as well as a laptop. Easy to install and setup (they also have setup videos online you can watch). I use it multiple times a day to check my current demand (especially to check the demand of my hot tub and car charger). The daily consumption feature, month reports are convenient to use for knowing your energy consumption and what to expect from an invoice for your electrical utility (the myEyedro reports have always been withing a few dollars of the utilities invoice). I have contacted their technical support team and they are quick to respond and help you out. I would highly recommend this product for the all the features you get for the price; it can't be beat!

Do not buy!!! ZERO customer assistance.
Unit intalled easily then the problems started piling up. User interface is not intuitive with all sorts of odd messages popping up. Tried to contact them for help...nothing !!!!!! The FAQ's did not help and there is no way to contat a live person.

Love this!
This gives me the ability to monitor the power consumption of my new heat pump so I can see how much the electricity is costing me to cool and heat my home. It was not hard to install, although there are some gaps in the specific details of the setup. I have some knowledge of electrical so I could figure it out. The instructions for the configuration were not entirely clear. (Probably made sense to the engineer that wrote them…) and I am not clear whether I should be able to look at historical data for the current month. I can pull a report for previous months, but if I want to see last week I don’t seem to be able to do that. But with those things aside I love the information it gives me so I’m not even going to downgrade my rating from 5 stars. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Limited capability, but works well
WE needed a power meter to let us know what power we were connecting when using emergency generator. It does this. It is not suitable for more detailed load measurement. Much of what it can do, is already available from Hydro One (our Utility). But it does what we needed it for. It is very easy to install with jsy two current transformer to be isnstalled inside the panel. Power is obtained externally. Other makes require more complex installation to meet codes.

Great dashboard to monitor whole house AC usage
Easy enough to install with CT clamps to monitor AC use. Electrician install recommend. Can monitor whole usage and solar AC generation. Support was helpful to connect one unit to wifi that wasn’t working at first. Also very helpful with setting initial configuration of devices in web portal. After than it’s been amazing. Great dashboard.
