Wood working and flattening Arkansas stones
I use the premium sandpaper for two reasons: 1. Woodworking - It nice to be able to stick the paper to a flat block of wood and sand any project that I'm working. The paper does not tear as easily as a loose 1/4 sheet of regular sandpaper, and I can make cut wooden blocks in different shapes and sizes and stick the sandpaper to it. 2. I flatten Arkansas sharpening stones by attacking the paper to a flat surface and sprinkle SiC on it. It keeps the flat surface from dishing, just replace the paper two or three times as it wears. The sandpaper cuts as well as protects the flat surface.
