Perfection
This works as it should. Easy install. Sounds great. No weird noises to worry about. Only thing you need is a set of RCA cables. My only issues (if you call it that) is the power button. I wish it was automatic but at this price point I cannot complain and would definitely suggest this to anyone that needs it.

Nice preamp for the price
Great little preamp for the price. I’ve owned higher end for a more professional setup, but this works really well especially in tight spaces. Only issue here stems from the grounding component. A little difficult to get it to stay on for some ground wires, but overall transmits a high quality sound.

Way better than expected! Sounds as good as high quality vintage preamp.
Lots of complaints about noise and hum, but sounds great to me. I was worried, but the sound quality was every bit as good as when I was using a vintage very high quality amp as a dedicated preamp. I didn't jump through hoops on placement either. I just put it 1 shelf under my receiver, where there's no other units. I didn't need to ground it either. Zero hum and full frequency response. We'll see about longevity, but I'm thrilled with it for now. I think people's issues are with cheap turntables, wires, equipment or improper understanding of interference with items such as WiFi routers and power transformers.

Perfect preamp for my old phonograph
Exactly what I needed and wanted to boost my phonograph signal output to drive my modern amplifier. Easy setup and excellent sound!!

POS distorts the music so badly
So I buy this because my old one got lost in the move..hook this up to phono fire it up and even at the lowest volume this is distorting the music… moved to other RCA’s and it clears up but now sounds like it did going straight to the receiver. (Analog) low volume you have turn it so loud just to hear it-22 decibels at least….save yourself and don’t buy this crap

Somethin in it is intermittent. The right channel was giving low output but later after heating up, started to work.
