Still setting it up to use as a bird bath with a pump! I did test the plug and it seems to hold water very well! I do like the Blue Slate Color!!!! It seems like it is going to work good for my Bird Bath! It feels very sturdy for what I’m going to use it for!!!

This is an excellent and inexpensive planter. I use it for a birdbath (with a floating solar fountain). It is extremely durable so far in first season of use. It has a small plug in bottom that you could remove for drainage if used for plants. I filled the bottom with sharp edged wire mesh, which lightly scratched the inside, but is not even noticable unless its empty and you really look close. I added a lot of rocks and water weight, while nesting it inside the rim of another empty planter for support. So far it has held up amazingly well. I am a fairly strong person and moving it mostly full to a sunnier location was a struggle due to weight of rocks and so much water. I gripped under the outside lip edge and it didnt crack, just flexed ever so slightly, which was a pleasant surprise. I dont know if it will become brittle with light and weather exposure, but so far it is super durable. The price is great too. Planters are usually a lot more $$ for smaller sizes; birdbaths and fountains are a lot more $$ as well. It also has gotten compliments from everyone who sees it and they are always surprised at how inexpensive the while set up is. One of my favorite garden additions that i hope to enjoy for years. I plan to buy a few more of these to try and make a cascading water feature in another area of my yard. Because even if i cant get that to work as i imagine, they would be beautiful for flowers.

I just put it all together tonight so tomorrow morning will tell the story . I love the color , shape and size of my new pot. My water fountain is a fancy three tiered clear plastic deal with the pump at the bottom and the spigiot at the top. It looks like a tray that they would put fancy finger sandwiches and desserts on at a high tea, it is adorable. Of course the water pump needs to be standing in 2" of water in order for it to pump the water up as a fountain. I thought that we would have something that would work for this but I was wrong . Then as Iam searching on amazon I see what others have created with a nice big container so I was very happy when I found The HC company with this perfect 18" container in the beautiful water color teal . They have three different sizes and the 18" fits my space perfectly . Iam hoping that the wildlife will be using it to drink and bath in It may be that Iam having Disney Princess fantasies Only time will tell .

I am using this bowl planter for base of a water fountain. Works adequately for this purpose. Sturdy for weight of water and fountain. It is light weight and easy to move around when nothing is in it but sturdy when water is added and doesn't move during high winds and rains. Paid a little more than I wanted; however, it is very large size.

Bought this planter for my extra large aloe plant, works great, very durable, but it was alittle pricy for being plastic.

I bought this to grow my ginger. Its big!!! Its shallow for the width of it, but still sorta deep. But great! My roots will have the space to grow down and the width needed for the plant to spread! Good drainage, sturdy construction, and beautiful colors that wont fade in the sun!

The planter itself was just 'OK'. The size was fine and the color matched description. But, it is very lightweight., and not good value for the money. Not what I was expecting for $14.99. I've had better planters that came free with potted plants, and I would expect this to be priced below $10. I will be returning it.

We had to cut down a Crabapple tree in our front yard. I asked them to cut the stump super level so I could put a bird bath bowl on it. After looking at several expensive options (and this might get stolen off our front lawn at some point - so the price had to stay low) I decided to go with this. It's huge, really, and made of plastic. My plan is to paint it with acrylic paints, then seal it with resin, inside and out. Then put river rocks in the bottom of it to weigh it down (this thing weighs next to nothing) so it doesn't get blown away or knocked over by squirrels or raccoons. Then fill it with water and enjoy the visiting birds in the spring. :-) I think it could last a long time.

These garden bowls are the best. Really durable, and they look nice took. Great for my succulents
