Cobble Hill 1000 Piece Puzzle - Country Diary: Summer - Sample Poster Included

Cobble Hill. Random-cut. Poster included. 1,000 pieces. 676mm x 489mm. Average piece size 331mm2. Designed in Canada, manufactured in the USA. The puzzle board is only 1.8mm thick, yet the pieces still feel solid. The puzzle is random cut, yet the pieces still approximate the standard ribbon cut shapes. An analysis of a section with 109 pieces found that H-shapes predominated. No false fits were found when building. To build the puzzle, the pieces were sorted into: • Edges • Text • Birds or insects or structures • Flower blossoms • Leaves • Other The puzzle was then assembled in that order. In terms of difficulty, I rated the puzzle as two out of five – of normal difficulty, as almost all pieces could be placed by examining the poster. Only one piece found in the jigsaw was completely blank, all the rest had at least some part of a flower, leaf, insect etc. on them. This was a pleasant and relaxing puzzle with a high-quality illustration. The tranquillity of the illustration was calming. I rated the jigsaw as five out of five for entertainment.

Beautiful image with substantial well cut pieces that fitted snugly together - some with interesting shapes too! Gave one as well received gift and bought one for myself.

This is a beautiful puzzle. It comes with a mini poster to help you along. The pieces are well made and sturdy.

Love these puzzles. They are a perfect calm feel for those who like a puzzle through the seasons. I have all 4 they bring delight and enjoyment to the inner puzzle lover. No super challenging pieces, easy to assemble with a bit of time and effort. Picture is pretty and seasonally appropriate. Good way to notice nature in the season you're in. I recieved Autumn as a winter gift so I will upload the photo next fall. Attached are some other completed ones.
