This is my 1st review and a month has past since the laptop was purchased. Prior, it has been over two years since I last owned a gaming laptop and even then, I was in need of an upgrade. While searching for a new laptop, I came across this interesting device. At first, I was a bit skeptical after reading the reviews and comparing the specs of other gaming laptops. But since I was purchasing other items as well, I decided to go with this one. It was purchased on the 18th and it arrived on the 24th, which was sooner than expected. Once I booted the laptop, I was blown away on the speed of this device. It loads applications at the snap of a finger, very quick boot time to where I can shut down and turn on within 1 minute, and the display is gorgeous. Now to check and see how the games will behave. All of my games, whether they're emulators or from Steam, looks stunning graphic-wise and runs near-perfectly. The Bluetooth feature was a blessing as my older laptop did not have that and I have old PS4 controllers laying around since I now have a PS5. The only cons I will point out is the battery life and the fans. The battery life is short when unplugged and it drains faster if running high-demanding games, only allowing roughly an hour and a half of game time unplugged. Also, the fans get loud when running certain games from Steam. I only know two of the games I play (Dead by Daylight & Civilization 5) that kicks the fans into high gear. The fan con, however, does not apply to my other games. I will throw in of the fact that there are only two USB ports, which is not a big deal considering the price of the laptop. Overall, this laptop does exactly what it needs to do and then some. If you are in the market for a gaming laptop while on a budget, this is a excellent choice. Although I've heard stories of this laptop not being as advertised, it is best to do your homework before making that decision.

Let me start off with the screen. It’s a 144hz full hd screen and it doesn’t look and feel too bad. The weight of the laptop is more on the heavy side but it is a gaming laptop so. The speakers are also very nice and the performance is very good for the price. The heat does get very high but it is a gaming laptop. If you want to cool it down, the omen gaming hub app that you get preinstalled has the option to set the fans on max speed for the best cooling. There’s also a quiet mode for those late night video game sessions or if you just want to play games quietly. The battery life is pretty good, however like most gaming laptops, the performance is heavily reduced when unplugged, which is why you should consider plugging this in when playing games. The keyboard is also really nice with a backlit mode. The material on the laptop is also really nice. FPS TESTS (all are with optimized computer settings, no gpu overclocking): Fortnite: All low performance: 180 FPS AVG in game Call of Duty: All low (not the lowest possible) performance: 120 FPS AVG in game Forza Horizon 4: All maxed out settings (highest possible): 43 FPS AVG in game Rocket League: All maxed out (highest possible settings): 160 FPS AVG in game Minecraft: Lowest settings possible: 1k FPS AVG in game Medium settings: 250 FPS (stable 170 FPS AVG when capped at 170) Overall best gaming laptop on the markets for people on a budget. I highly recommend you spend $100-200 more on a gaming pc for future proofing.

Some things that I like are that the display is nice and that it has a number pad. I've noticed some issues with it - The track pad will "click" if you press on the plastic to the side of it. It will do it all the time and mess me up while trying to do other tasks. - some of the keys have already started to malfunction. None of the important ones but F3 does not work to brighten the screen, instead it darkens it. I have to click on the brightness bar rather than use the adjusting key in order to correct the issue. - The battery life isn't what I was hoping but it lasts for 4-5 hours before I need to plug in again. - The cursor will disappear on the screen so I had to change something in the settings to make sure that it stays black so that I can see it. I don't really use it for gaming, just for school. I've played a few games on it and it seems to run without issues.

Works really well, bought it for a friend so we can game. Everything came quickly and he said there have been zero problems. We played Final Fantasy 11 which is older graphics no problem and than more recent games and stream and it works great as a medium built gaming laptop. Perfect for our needs.

Una opción excelente para aquellos que desean disfrutar los videojuegos a calidades altas y buenos fps. La laptop llegó en excelente estado, fue agotador el inicio de sesión en windows 11 pero cuenta con todas las funcionalidades que promocionaba. Su tarjeta de video y su ram son de las ultimas memorias, por lo que dan buena estabilidad, prende en menos de 15 segundos y abre las aplicaciones muy rápido, esto por su almacenamiento de alta velocidad. SUS PUNTOS NEGATIVOS SON: Da stuttering (tirones) Considero que en mi caso es porque no he actualizado ningun driver pero aún así lo colo aquí por si alguien no sabe como instalarlos y se pregunta la razón de los tirones. La entrega del paquete fue sin ninguna confirmación de identidad y esto puede suponer cierto riesgo a la hora de entregar el recibo, lo trataron como un pedido ordinario y por su precio no considero que lo sea. El material es de plástico, se comprende por su precio pero los rasguños se marcan así como la suciedad es dificil de quitar: Su pantalla es de panel ips pero en una habitación oscura se remarcan mucho las areas donde estan los puntos de luminiscencia. Si la laptop se coloca en un terreno irregular puede afectar en el funcionamiento del trackpad hasta que se cambie de posición ( en veces no puede presionarse los botones cuando coloco la laptop en el borde de mi mousepad de mi ordenador principal ) Su batería no es de mucha duración sin embargo para el rango de precio y las prestaciones que tiene el equipo considero que esta muy bien, sin embargo en procesos no demandantes, con ahorro de energía y varias limitaciones la computadora puede llegar a dar hasta 5 horas de rendimiento (en aplicaciones de bajo uso de energía), en aplicaciones de alto consumo únicamente duró 1.5 horas SUS PUNTOS POSITIVOS SON: Su procesador es de ultima generación, por lo que tendrá actualizaciones y compatibilidad fácilmente 6 años Su tarjeta gráfica es potente, a pesar de ser de las series RTX 2000 la RTX 2050 que contiene este portatil está muy optimizada, he tenido la RTX 2060 y únicamente considero que esta por debajo un 20% de potencia, obviamente si no esta conectada su rendimiento disminuye, pero conectada su rango de potencia es en parte similar a la RTX 2060. La memoria RAM que tiene es DDR5 por lo que muestra mayor compatibilidad y velocidad, son 16gb pero cumplen con todos los procesos básicos y algunos demandantes Su trackpad es de excelente calidad y es suave el movimiento ( hablo del trackpad y no de los hercios ) Su pantalla de 144hz funciona super bien y puede usarse a 144hz en casi todos los juegos con la correcta configuración, su pantalla es de 1080p y por sus pulgadas hacen que se vea muy nitido el color y los bordes. Su carga es rápida, carga al 100 en 2.5horas y al 50 en 1 hora Su teclado es amplio e iluminado, su distribución es inglesa, para programar funciona al 100 aunque si la necesitas para uso de escritura en español puede ser complicado acostumbrarse y recomendaría usar un teclado externo ya que no muestra algunos caracteres como: < > ó } en el idioma español. Su conexión a internet y bluetooth es bastante buena y rápida. Su ventilación y temperatura es excelente, me sorprendió como jugando minecraft java con shaders y 255 mods a 100fps no subía de 68 grados, para un portatil es algo extraordinario, y si no se usa en videojuegos la temperatura no subirá de 50 grados o la temperatura ambiente, depende mucho en la zona donde vivas. Recomendaría esta laptop para todas las personas que no cuentan con un presupuesto abismal o que no quieren gastar demasiado en un portátil. Para trabajos de edición o renderización a nivel profesional no la recomendaría, pero si eres estudiante o simplemente necesitas un portátil con un buen rendimiento y de buenas prestaciones para salir de viaje si la recomendaría ampliamente.

Me gusto, una buena lap optima para todo, me llego con el cargador y todo eso, realmente ante especificaciones me rinde y me sorprende por el precio que lo agarre, realmente si vale la pena, ya llevo 3 meses con la lap y el unico problema que me presento fue que parpadeo pero fue porque inicie una aplicación corrupta xddd, pero dejando eso, es buena para usarlo para tareas o cualquier otra cosa, y si, si puede ser usada para juegos, en mi caso lo uso para jugar Overwatch y tambien es muy buena para uso de programación, si nos vamos a calidad fisica, se siente muy buena(ya se me callo :v) pero resistio el golpe(aunque no fue de gran altura he de destacar, hasta el momento todo bien, todo chido.

Originalmente la compré para hacer multistreaming en Twitch y Tiktok (y me ha servido bastante bien para streamear con calidad 1920x1080 a 60fps usando una capturadora para mostrar mi juego desde mi ipad/xbox) y descargué algunos juegos como Fortnite, Valorant y LOL, y verdaderamente estoy impresionada con la fluidez y calidad. Si quieres jugar con la maxima calidad, fps ilimitados, etc probablemente esta laptop no sea para ti pero si es tu primera laptop gamer (como en mi experiencia) es más que excelente. El único inconveniente que le he encontrado es que la batería casi no le dura, siempre tengo que jugar con la lap conectada si no se me apagaría a medio juego yo creo. En cuanto a todo lo demás, estoy encantada. No suelo comprar dispositivos HP pero este supero mis expectativas por mucho!

Honestamente cuando la iba a comprar, vi muchos videos que la destacaban como increíble, francamente para uso gamer no siento que sea tan buena, hay muchísimos juegos que no son tan demandantes que corre de pésima manera, pero para otro tipo de uso, como educativo, o de programación es bastante buena, aunque para su principal uso no me haya cumplido, la verdad es que para el costo, es bastante buena, me encanta la estética de la lap y lo ligera que es.
