The Evolutionary Journey of the Soul (v.1) (Pluto)

This is a challenging book that I will need to reread many times to take in all the incredible depth in this subject matter. The very best kind of book!

After reading part two (relationships) and cying numerous times because I felt empowered to know myself better, I knew that part one could only amplyfy this effect. Jeff doesn't disappoint! If you truely wish to know your soul and your life purpose, read this book. But be warned, you will not be the same afterwards

ルウェリン社より'85年初版、レヴュアー所有版は'94年11刷版。冥王星にかんする著書のなかでは既に名著、との位置が確立された感のある、ジェフ・グリーンJeff Greenに拠る著書。表紙を捲ってすぐに「本書について」と題した小文があり、その冒頭にはさっそく、「『なぜ私はここにいるのか?』あるいは『私のレッスンは何なのだろう?』と自ら問いかけた事のある方なら」、本書は占星術的見地からのその答えの一助となるだろう、との記述がある。 例に拠ってのルイス『占星術百科』（鏡リュウジ監訳）には、本著が5か国語に翻訳済みである、とある。 Chap.は4つある。導入で著者は、上述冒頭の2つの質問の話からきりだす。 そして本書は2巻本であり、1巻目の内容ならびに、2巻目には冥王星を絡めたシナストリーSynastryを収録する事を謳っている。 Chap.1「冥王星:魂の進化の旅」は上記、序文で述べられた事を、チャート上で具体的にどのように見出すかが述べられた、本書最大の鍵となる章である。このなかで著者は、以下に挙げる草々等を肝要だと考えているようだ。・冥王星のあるサインとハウス。・冥王星の対向（=オポジション）にあるポイント、サインとハウス=私達、そのチャートの持ち主が進化を意識すべきポイント、未来、起源（集合）に還る。・上記、冥王星の対向点については、そこに天体等感受点が存在しない事が多い（"uncharted"）事から、私達の多くは気付きを得にくい。 これらを私達読者への理解を促すべく著者は直後、冥王星が獅子9ハウスにある人物のケース・スタディを挙げており、著者はそのなかで水瓶3ハウスがそのチャートの持ち主の進化にとって、重要なレッスンとなる事を述べている。長じてなぜ私達は同じ過ちを犯し、同じレッスンを強いられるのかと問題提起を行い、論をさらに展開している。

This is a must have book for the modern astrologer, and if you are looking at this review chances are you already know why. Jeff really pushed the envelope making really impactful and practical and useful contributions to the field. It goes through Pluto in all the signs/houses in quite some depth, and uses his consider knowledge and experience to give compelling expositions of how Pluto plays out in the lives of many. Of course it is written from the perspective of Evolutionary Astrology that looks at this incarnation as one in a series and asks the question ... what is the evolutionary purpose of this life, and where is this soul evolving from ? It uses Pluto, in conjunction with the Moon's Nodes in the Natal chart to answer this question, and Jeff gives countless examples of clients and how it plays out in real life charts. I have already recommended this book to friends and I pass on this recommendation to you too

Wow! This book is Amazing! and has made such a difference in how i relate to myself.In Love that Jeff highlights Pluto's effects on each Planet and house in one's natal chart, I found this most helpful and exacting. Right now Transiting Pluto is conjunct my natal Sun!!! and in my natal chart Pluto (which is in my first house) makes contact with 6 Planets! So when i read this book and the various challenges and solutions to this most challenging path i have chosen, i then had a language to match the Intense Transformation that I am (and have been since birth) undergoing! I mean, emotional and psychological phenomena that i have been experiencing forever, bafffling behavior and not understanding why...this book explains so plainly. I felt a bit relieved as my darkness was mirrored and described so matter of factly...all of a sudden it all seemed handleable. And when complulsions come up now...i'm aware and observe myself and make concious choices...Thank You Jeff...I now Honor Lord Pluto and accept and embrace his underworld of Power as a reflection of My Own!
