Best Brand
Itโs crazy to think that Iโve discovered this brand over a decade ago the fact that he is so adorable so easy to clean and itโs rather vert. I would say I donโt just use it for pizza. I use it whenever Iโm reheating something in the oven or if I just need something to Maintain my nonstick pan. The quality is great. I will continue to support this brand because I have yet to find a better one. I donโt think I could honestly.

Buy two and thank me later
These are great! It changes pizza night for good. I bought two and alternate them in the oven. While one is in the oven, I use the second to lay out the dough and prep the second pizza. This makes for a great "pizza and movie night" system. Theres always a fresh pizza coming out of the oven and everyone takes one or two sizes, so you get to try multiples toppings/types. I STRONGLY recommend buying a pizza stone and using a large spatula to help pull them from the oven. I think these would work fine with fairly loose dough too. I've never had dough soak through the mesh mat.

Silicone round
Used many times it does the job and never argues with me.

Mesh construction may be perfect for pizza but makes grease cleanup difficult
I am not much of a baker but have used Silpat silicone baking mats since 2011 for baking chicken wings, fish sticks, egg rolls and other similar items. For me the most attractive feature is that foods don't need to be turned over halfway through, a hot messy process, but crisp nicely on both sides. Cleanup is also easy, wipe the fat off with waste paper and right into the trash, thus keeping grease out of my dishwasher and my pipes. I accidentally bought a half size mat and found it perfect for my toaster oven. My kitchen remodel brought me an Advantium oven which has a convection bake feature in a microwave. When baking there is a round metal tray which revolves like a microwave tray. Because of this any baking sheet or container must clear the sides when rotating, a little hard to achieve with a rectangle. GE recommends heating using a star arrangement of food rather than rows. So basically, the big mat won't rotate and the small mat doesn't allow for radial distribution of food. Thus my search for a round Silicone mat. The Pizza Mat was not an obvious first choice, it is smaller than the available baking surface and so limits the portion size. However, other offerings have either unreliable reviews or inaccurate information or both so I decided to go with the brand I knew and trusted. The porous mesh design may be ideal for baking doughy crusts, allowing moisture to escape, but it is not an advantage for foods with a higher fat content that you want to brown. Whatever fat or other residue that doesn't run through onto the non-stick baking tray gets trapped in the mesh itself. The baking tray is expensive to replace and one motivation for using a baking sheet is to avoid damaging the finish with baked on food. The mesh construction makes it nearly impossible to wipe or blot away all the fat stuck in the little holes before washing. I am a little obsessive about fat in my pipes and I don't want any avoidable grease in them. I tried using a paper towel between the mesh mat and the metal tray but that made for an unappetizing soggy result. Unlike the rectangular mats there are no metal filaments in the mesh to aid with browning. I hope Silpat sees the need for a round baking mat modeled on their original mats and gets one on the market. The rotating Advantium style oven concept will probably spread and voila your market! I try to document the grease issue and the general process with the photos. I hope this helps you decide if this product will meet your needs.

Great multi-purpose mats!
I purchased the Silpat pizza mats after I had been using other Silpat jelly roll mats, and I love them. The Silpat pizza mats are so virsatile - we use them for pizza, baking cookies, cooking appetizers, toasting sandwiches, etc. Just make sure to transfer anything that needs cut to a cutting board after cooking. The mats clean up so easily too. These are a great investment and will last a long time if properly taken care of. I wish I had purchased them years ago instead of wasting so much parchment paper and foil.

Works just as advertised
I kept having trouble with my pizza dough sticking to the pan after cooking it. Even with using parchment paper or putting down some cornmeal. I don't cook with oil so Iโm sure thatโs part of why they stick. This little item worked great!! No stuck dough!! Loved it so much I had to get a second one since I usually make pizzas in pairs.

It has holes on it and it is NOT non-stick
This mat has holes on it and when I finished baking cookies on it, there were burn marks on my tray and the cookies stuck to the mat because of the holes. I already used it, so I can't return it. This was pretty pricy as well, but I figured I would pay the high price for a high quality item. This was not it. I wish I could return it but I already thew the box away and I used the mat. I am now stuck with this thing. If I could give zero stars, I would.

This is porous, like a screen door
Didn't realize it was porous. Works fine for what it is, but anything that drips on it will go to the pan below.

Good quality
A bit pricey compared to the other silicone baking mats Iโve purchased. Loving the pizza quality - bakes dough perfectly and very easy to clean. Quick wipes and you are done. Big saving on baking paper.

Heated through
I use this mat to make vegan flatbread pizzas in my flavor wave oven. It works beautifully for that and the convection/infrared heat circulates to the bottom of the flatbread easily. I tried some 'shoestring' French fries and it worked very well for that also. It is easy to clean under hot running water after a quick dip in dishwashing detergent. Very pleased with this product !
