Strong, great for food storage!
I first bought this wrap when I had a membership to Costco, and from the first time I used it, I realized that it was a great purchase...This is the best wrap I've ever used! I know that a seemingly inconsequential item like plastic food wrap doesn't seen very important...but when you're trying to wrap leftovers or some other food item, and the filmy stuff just seizes into a tangled ball, or conversely, doesn't stick to anything--like the sides of the bowl in which you have your food--then it takes on a more meaningful role in the preparation of food in your kitchen. Even though initially the price may seem a bit more expensive than the regular plastic wraps, it lasts (with average usage) way longer than the more prominent brands--Saran Wrap, Handi-Wrap,etc.--and is stronger and adheres better than those brands. I use it to keep all of my foods fresher longer! I'm so glad that I was able to find it on Amazon, because I'm no longer a Costco member (don't live near to one), and I was almost out of my last roll!

Best plastic food wrap we've ever used!
This Kirkland Stretch-tite is the best plastic food wrap we've ever used! We had a different brand from BJ's which lasted around two years, but always had trouble cutting it. The Stretch-tite cuts perfectly every time and that is a pleasure. Also, the film stretches better than other brands when covering items, which makes for a better seal. If you've never bought a large box like this, you're in for a treat. Rather than buying small boxes of film every few months, this 3000 sq ft will probably last you a couple of years. It is definitely a much better value. My wife covered the box with a pleasing gift wrap to make it look better on the granite counter. One technique I'v learned is to place the plate of food on the counter in front of the plastic wrap. Then, with two hands, pull out the plastic a little past the plate. Then, pick up the plate, slide the cutter to cut the film, and grab the other end of plastic to finish wrapping the plate. This whole operation takes seconds to perform. One other great use is when you're painting a room: Paint out the excess paint on the brush, then just take a generous piece of plastic film and wrap the brush completely. It will stay soft for at least a day! Thank you for viewing!

Ideal size
I so sure it needs to be this large to weigh down to the counter and not move. Sam's Club stop selling it for smaller packages. It will last 5 years.

This is a LOT of plastic wrap. Be sure you have the right space at home for it.
I do like this plastic wrap generally, and it is wonderful not to have to worry about tiny little boxes of plastic wrap running out. But this is a LOT of plastic wrap in a very big and heavy box. You are not going to want to be lifting and using this like you would a small box. I did not think about home kitchen storage for it -- but it really demands to be left out and used the way it would be in a professional kitchen. Make sure you have room to put it somewhere solid above (or near the edge of) your counters since pulling and tearing the product takes both hands to be done correctly -- and you need to be able to pull it up and then tear down without smacking your hands on the counter. Just think about how it is used in a professional kitchen and the description might make more sense. I don't use the separate included slider-cutter, but, thinking about it, that might help the tearing issue. The cutting blade on the cardboard that is included is really great. The film itself has a slight odor to it, but that odor was only transferred to some baked goods when I covered the pan with it instead of using my regular waxed paper; it has been perfect for everything else and seems much easier to unwrap than regular plastic wrap.

Best value, easy to tear
I don't bother buying those small rollsโthey're cumbersome. You have to hold the roll on one hand, tear wth the other, and still end up with a clump you have to separate. With this big one, I keep in on the counter and am able to use two hands to tear and place onto whatever I'm wrapping. Easy.

The Best There is
Ever since we were given a box of Stretch-tite years ago, we were amazed at how much it holds up to its name. Then we couldn't find it anymore at Costco and started using the Kirkland's brand that didn't perform as well as Stretch-tite. Our Kirkland brand was running low and I just happened to find Stretch-tite here on amazon and ordered a box and we are now again enjoying the use of this great product. The benefits are a plastic film that will cling and keep on clinging and a slide cutter that works great up to the end of the roll. An amazing product that I would highly recommend and with 3000 feet we will not have to purchase another roll anytime soon.
