This is the most absorbent, skin moisturizing and softening oil for dry skin I’ve ever used. And I’ve tried all the expensive ones. Hands down, the best. The scent is light and lovely. Fresh. I highly recommend this product. You will really love the feel and appearance of your skin. Everywhere.

Really nice body oil with a couple of minor drawbacks. It leaves my skin feeling soft, hydrated, and gives it a beautiful healthy glow without feeling greasy once it absorbs. I also like that it helps smooth dry areas over time. My only two complaints are that it can be a little difficult to spread if applied directly to dry skin. I found it glides on much more easily if I apply it after a body lotion or on slightly damp skin. Also, it has a light natural oil scent that isn’t unpleasant, but I would have preferred either a nice fragrance or no scent at all. Overall, it’s a great body oil, absorbs well after a few minutes, and leaves my skin looking healthy and radiant. I’d definitely keep using it.

I purchased this dry body oil spray along with the Aveeno Eczema Therapy Gel Cream and the Triple Oat Body Wash because I have very dry, sensitive skin and often experience itching after showering or throughout the day. At the time, I didn't yet know that I had eczema, but I later learned that my skin is eczema-prone, which made me appreciate this combination even more. From the first use, I noticed a big improvement in hydration and overall comfort. While the body wash and gel cream are fragrance-free, which is great for sensitive skin, this oil does have a scent — and it smells amazing. It’s soft, clean, and pleasant without being overpowering, and it leaves a subtle fragrance on the skin. That said, there is one important thing to keep in mind: even though it’s labeled as a “dry oil,” it can feel quite oily if you use too much. If you have sensitive skin or don't like the feeling of heavy or layered products, applying too much may feel uncomfortable. How I use it — what works best for me: I spray it all over my body at the end of my shower, right before stepping out. Then I lightly rinse to remove any excess. After drying off, I apply a small amount with my hands. This method gives me great hydration without leaving my skin feeling overly heavy. Using it this way, my skin feels soft, comfortable, and nourished, with a healthy glow and a very pleasant scent. Tip A little goes a long way. If you apply too much, it can feel heavy, especially before bed. I recommend starting with a small amount and adjusting it based on your skin and personal preference. Final Thoughts Now that I know my skin is eczema-prone, I pay much more attention to how products feel and perform on my skin. With the right amount and application method, this has been a really good addition to my body-care routine. It provides noticeable hydration, leaves my skin feeling comfortable and soft, and has a beautiful scent. I would definitely repurchase it.

Been using this for a year. This is my fourth time repurchasing it. It’s very effective at moisturizing and smells very light and not offensive or greasy. Simple ingredients.

I almost always have one of these as part of my body care routine. It smells soooo good to me and provides me just the right amount of moisture and shine but not too much. The spray maybe helps with not using too much at one time.

I rated this as a 3-star product because it’s an oil that you can use on your body. However I do not recommend it for reasons specified below. Regarding the spray nozzle, I found it to be useless. Once I got oil on my hands, the only way I could use the spray nozzle was to leverage the bottle against the bathroom counter. If I held the bottle in one hand and attempted to use the pump, it slipped out of the my hands. Very annoying. Putting oil in a spray bottle is ineffective. I replaced the spray nozzle with a different cap. However, my biggest problems with this product involve questionable ingredients and deceptive marketing. The product page states “Powered by oat and jojoba oil”. I have no idea what “powered by” is supposed to mean but the first ingredient is soybean oil. Soybean oil isn’t mentioned in the marketing. In fact, “soy” appears only once on the product page, in the ingredients list. Soy is a controversial ingredient in foods and this is the first time I’ve encountered it in a beauty product. Given that some people avoid products containing soy (myself included), and since soybean oil is the first ingredient in this product, the marketing should state its presence in the product. A bit of research involving the best oils for skin reveals that soybean oil, although acceptable and widely used due to the fact that it inexpensive, is not the best. Given the inexpensive price of this product, I suspect it’s mostly soybean oil. If you are concerned with products made with Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), be aware that soy is commonly a GMO and consequently, so is soybean oil (as are canola, corn and cottonseed oils). Jojoba is excellent for your skin. 100% pure jojoba and 100% pure avena sativa kernel oil (oat oil) are available for purchase. Both are non-GMO. Both are more expensive than soybean oil which explains why soybean oil is the first ingredient in this product. Now I’ll admit, this was my mistake. I read the marketing hype, was enticed by the low price, and failed to scroll down to the ingredients list. I won’t make that mistake again. Lessons learned: don’t believe the marketing, check the ingredients, know what I’m buying. As for negatives cited by other reviewers, yes it has a very strong fragrance that might pose an issue for some people. Also it is oily and takes a while to absorb into the skin. I noticed that the first time I used this product. Having used 100% jojoba which absorbs very quickly, I took a look at the ingredients. Silly me, since the marketing touted jojoba and oat oil, I thought those were the ingredients. That’s when I saw that soybean oil is the first ingredient and is certainly why it’s oily and stays that way. I do not recommend this nor will I purchase it again.

I love the loccitaine almond oil, however it's quite costly and I've been searching for something similar. This is it. This is the best smelling, quality body oil I've found for the price. I've used so many others and I'm so glad I found this one by aveeno! My skin feels great, I have sensitive skin also and I had no problems with this product. Buy it. It smells divine and leaves your skin silky.
