Finally, a repair job that shouldn't be hard and only take 10 minutes lived up to expectation! These truck gas props fit perfect. I didn't even have to change out the ball fittings. Now it's easy to open my tonneau cap and it holds in place.

This seems Like the original that came with my ARE bed topper. It works just like the original as far as size and it lifts the lid much higher.

ARE tonneau cover launches open now. I didn't realize how worn out the old struts were, now I literally have to pull with effort to close the cover. That's good since the old ones kept getting worse and worse especially when it's cold to the point where I didn't trust it and had to hold it open just in case. World of difference. Thanks.

These worked great once installed. The only reason I do not give 5 stars is that one of the clips was bent when I got and I had to use one of the old ones. A bit difficult to deal with, but doable. Also not obvious until you are in the middle of the install. Half the price of the dealer version and fast delivery. Worth mentioning that I put them on an ARE truck bed lid with lifter number 025800 0490N 090/11. I went by measuree size because I could not find a cross reference. Perfect fit.

cannot speak of the longevity, only just bought it like a month ago but they fit great and appear high quality for a great price! drop in replacement for my existing ones which exploded oil everywhere. Update: 3 years later, they have held up just fine with no reduction in pressure!
