Spot-on accurate! This is THE ONE to buy!
I weighed a 10 lb. Sack of flour in a super lightweight plastic grocery bag on this scale. 10 lbs. right on the nose! The numbers for pounds are small. It is easier to read the kg numbers. The photo is of a magnifying glass purchased from Amazon. It is perfect to use nlarge the numbers on the scale (although be forewarned…when its battery dies, that’s it. No more light). I weigh out the hay for our horses in an often dim feed room. The 4-1/2 lb. And 5-1/2 lb. feed as shown on the scale also seem right in terms of how I get per many per bale. This scale, combined with the magnifying glass works great! When night has fallen, I put on a headlamp, After reading most of the reviews complaining about the various brands and models of hanging scales, it was clear that this was the only decent, reliable one. I am sooooo glad that I bought this one!

Test it before you use it so you have an idea if it is spot on, or has a slight offset.
I ran some tests on the scale to check it's accuracy. My scale was consistently off by 1lb for any item I measured that was over 2 lbs. So I can easily estimate the actual weight by subtracting a pound. Under two lbs and it isn't very consistent. (But I am not weighing Bass that small anyway.) It works, but the scale is off by 1 pound.

Works good so far.
As i said, it works good so far. We've only hung up a few fish for weighing with it, but it's easy to use. We've made no bother to actually test it's accuracy, as it's not that important.
