If I could go back I would have replaced the active eq with a 3 band eq like the Darkglass one or the Aguilar one. Or you could get the eq/pickup package. I took the horrible preamp out and wired up a p bass passive 1 volume 1 tone schematic and put this awesome pickup in. The sound now is great and this pickup can be warm and punchy or turn up to get a nice growl with a tight bass response. Only 1 problem I had to use file on pickgaurd to get the fit right with some patience it worked out great.
