A great knife at this price
This is a really nice knife to use, very sharp, holds it's edge and is very controllable, it slices and chops finer and faster than many more expensive knives I own and has become my 'go to' knife in the kitchen. The handle is comfortable and looks great, it even comes with a nice plastic blade cover to protect the edge. The only thing is that it doesn't need the fake 'Damascus Steel' effect etched on the blade, it doesn't detract in any way from the use of the knife and it does stop things like potato sticking, but the knife is good enough to stand on it's own merits without faking it and to be honest it would put me off buying one as a gift, let it stand as it is, a good, practical kitchen knife at a great price.ETA: I recently gave it a real hand sharpen, and it's held a real, shave the hairs off your arm, razor edge really well. There's currently a 40% voucher bring it down to about £16, that's a crazy cheap price for a knife this good so I've bought myself a spare. I can't recommend a knife more than that!

Still sharp after months of use
Have had this knife months and it's still sharp. It makes cutting and dicing so easy. It slices through semi defrosted chicken like a dream. I use it every single day and love it

A very pretty knife
Beautiful knife/cleaver, and razor sharp with it. Bought it as a present for my mum who wealds it with great dexterity. Highly recommend it, and for the price, doubly so!

Looks good, sharp . Yes. It stays sharp too, been using every day for a month. Worth buying as a gift or to treat yourself.

Very sharp, heavy knife of good quality
I was looking to buy a Nakiri knife so snapped this up during the Prime Day sales which, for me, seemed to be a good balance between price and design. The knife came in a nice, quality presentation box which would be useful for gifting it to someone. Also included were a scabbard (which is essential) and finger guard. The knife itself exudes quality, from the sharpness of the blade to the full tang handle. It is heavier than I expected weighing in at 250g but feels nicely balanced when in my hand. The wooden handle is nicely polished and feels very comfortable in my hands.Despite appearances this is not a cut down chopper but more of a slicer. The edge has a very gentle curve which means the knife can be used either by rocking it, sawing it or just going straight up and down. The edge of the knife was scapel thin and sharp upon arrival. Time will tell how long the edge lasts but from my usage so far I've no doubt that this is a quality knife. The only negative aspect of this knife is the faux Damascus etching which looks slightly tacky however this does not detract from its function.
