Really beautiful board. It didn't come with pieces, but that's okay, I use pieces from other sets I already have. The coordinate system is printed on the edges which helps when you're trying to improve your game, especially using published puzzles or recreating famous matches. Very high quality. Worth every penny.

Great board, very sturdy and well made. Exactly as pictured in the photo, squares and index are painted on, not inlaid, but very well done. This board will last many years. Tiny rubber feet on the bottom. Love it! Thank you :)

First, no dislikes whatsoever. It exceeded my expectations in every way. The packaging was excellent, the quality of the product is excellent. The weight for it's size is nice. The squares are very nice. I am very happy I purchased this board. It hits way above it's price point. Well done.

It states 1.6" squares.....and that is accurate. Standard pieces don't fit, and magnetic pieces are far too small....so, prepare to use this GREAT LOOKING board as a kid's chess station with boxed plastic pieces.... too bad, because the quality is GREAT!
