A very useful well made device at a very reasonable price.
A great little device. I had to change the back box to a deeper one (45mm), but once I had done this the device fitted in easily along with the face plate connector block and associated cables (needs a N wire to work). It took a little bit of trial and error to get the first device paired, but once I had done one and learnt had to reset the device to get a slow blink the others were a doddle to install. The device was quite solid and the screws sturdy. They didn't get all chewed up when using a screwdriver, which sometimes happens with cheap goods. The connectors also took mains cable 2.5mm as well as light cable 1.5mm, which was good. I have in the past had connectors where the aperture is so small you struggle to get anything in. All in all a great bit of kit & now I can turn on all the outside lights (garage, house, pump room, flood lights etc. from my phone, wherever I may be.

Amazing value WiFi light switch
I have to preface this review by saying that I have a background in electrical/electronic engineering, so I am not your typical DIYer; however, with a bit of Internet searching for videos, practically anyone can use these. Firstly, why did I buy these and not a smart bulb? Two reasons: (1) I did not want to spend a lot of money on a smart LED bulb only to throw it away in a few years when it fails, plus I have some really cheap LED bulbs fitted that work just fine; and (2) I wanted something that just worked with my router and did not need a hub. Second, why these in particular? Because they are really cheap, small enough to hide away in a light fitting and work really reliably. These need both live and neutral feeds, so require fitting at the ceiling rose; you can buy ones that just need live and 'steal' a neutral feed through the bulb that can be fitted at the switch, but they are more expensive and there is no room to conceal them behind a UK light switch. I have attached three photos to show you how I have concealed mine: (1) I bought some large rose covers to hide the switch for standard light fittings; (2) I hid the switch in the little junction box for my LED floodlights; and (3) for my new, low-profile LED kitchen strip light that fits flush to the ceiling, I just cut a recess into the ceiling to tuck the switch into which is then concealed when the strip light is fitted. The live and switched-live feed to your wall switch connect to the two switch terminals on this WiFi switch; that means you have a no/low voltage switch circuit. Using the app, you can programme the wall switch to either toggle the light on and off regardless of which position the switch is in, or sync it so that the light obeys the normal 'up is off' 'down is on'. Whichever way you programme it, your digital assistant of choice can always override it when you give voice commands to switch on or off. I use Alexa for everything, and I have a routine to turn my landing light on at dusk and off at dawn for security when I am away. Finally, these work very reliably [so far] and do not need a very strong WiFi connection to do so. I am a very happy customer.

New switches do not work
I bought several switches 3 years ago, a couple stopped working after few months, I replaced them with the same product and I didnโt have any issues until few months ago. I bought the same product, easy installation as usual although after a few hours it goes offline and it becomes useless for the purpose of remote control. I have checked if there were any issues with connectivity etc. swapping positions with old switches I even bought new ones but there is no signal issues itโs all down to poor quality of the new product. I would really appreciate a feedback from the seller/producer as I still need a new switch and some spares just in case.

These are fab!
Great value, appear to be well made and decent quality, easy to configure, work immediately with Alexa, respond rapidly to Alexa commands. Pleasantly surprised by these little doohickeys. You need a neutral wire so these are no good to replace most light switches because they are usually a single switched live wire and the neutral will only be available at the light socket, but not the switch panel. You can therefore install this at the light socket of course but that is likely to be less straightforward. -- I post honest reviews, only of products I've bought, or have experience of, and only to help other buyers. If I have had a problem I'll explain what was done to address it. I don't receive any kind of reward for any of my reviews.

Review
Unit small but not enough to hide in uk back boxes as I have a plasterboard walls I fit it in the wall gap beside lighting switch box. Itโs very important to read manual and do not connect neutral or live to the switch! It should be volt free pair of cables. If do differently a dead short will occurs trough internal connection and at the best the MCB will gets tripped. Read Manual! The unit is easy to co figure and work great! The biggest disadvantage is very unstable WiFi connection so when want to control it through app or integration with Alexa or google itโs not working as device is offline. Sometimes it came back but only for several hours and itโs off-line again. Itโs cheap ale would be great device but this horrible unstable network connection throws me out.

I use a lot of electronic modules but these are "crazy" good. They work, have excellent range, smaller than you might think from the pictures (small enough to fit into an existing electric box {depending on what else is in there] to automate an existing light switch}), and an unbelievable value. However, as usual for Chinese electronic products, the engineering is excellent as is the construction quality, but the documentation is the weak spot. In particular, there is one misleading wiring aspect. The unit has a neutral line (white) for the line voltage in and a second neutral line connection for the output. Usually, if controlling a light or other line operated device, there is only on neutral wire. What they don't say is that you don't have to use the output neutral connection. You just need three wire connections: hot (black) in, hot (black) out and the line neutral (white) in. The two neutral connections (in and out) are likely just connected together inside. They also show a connection for a switch, which is good, but they don't mention that a switch is not required since there is a built-in switch on the body of the device (used for pairing as well as on/off). Of course, you will likely use the "Smart Life" app for control and/or Alexa or Google. I will also say that this device paired very quickly, faster than others (hold down the button of the device until the blue light blinks putting it into pairing mode.) It is also a real switch (likely a relay so no dimming) and I am using it to turn on/off a couple of 1000 watt motors.
