DO NOT buy this! I usually do not give any kind of reviews - but the experience with this product is bad - really bad! Not only is the device that was sold to me inside the UAE AMAZON Store - now that i have installed the "Owlet app" from the appstore and configured the camera that was part of the bundle inside that app, now when i try to install the SOCK it said first of all - oh you need to choose a different region when setting up the account for this - i thought ok... not nice but be it. So i created another account. This time when i tried to setup the SOCK, pairing went fine, it connected the SOCK to wifi but now the APP said - instead of the Owlet care app - you need to have the Owlet Dream APP I am not sure what the developer has planned here or what kind of ignorant behaviour this is - besides the fact that i also realized they are using Firebase (Google Cloud) meaning all private data from my baby is now all over the internet in googles system :/ - but also in the end this means its just a pile of garbage i can literally throw away. This was supposed to give peace of mind to my wife - so i gifted it her for christmas - 3 months before the baby was due and by that time willing to pay extra for a "quality" vendor seemingly thats not the case. My user experience is a disaster, device not usable, 400 USD garbage. Cannot iterate more : DO NOT BUY THIS (at least in UAE i can tell for sure)

This is not made for UAE. Constant issues with connectivity. If app gets the update, you will need to change all Wifi settings and connect it again. If connection between sock base gets lost you will need again to reset everything. This is made for America, not UAE. I highly recommend to not buy it as you will face a lot of stress. Especially if you do not understand well IT.

This product does not work outside US. It is zone restricted and the product page does not warn you

I live in Dubai. bought through Amazon. base, sock, camera does not want to see the phone, tablet. I tried iPhone, Android. If I understand correctly, this is a common problem and it won’t be possible to return it, I’m far away! no one will help

This is a must have if you have little ones!!! It will give you mamas a piece of mind when your little one is fast asleep. I originally ordered one for myself, thinking I would monitor my little one while I was working at night (dad's a heavy sleeper). Well I decided to resign and stay home with my little one. I still use the sock and my baby is 16 months. I absolutely love it and like I said, gives me a piece of mind knowing heart rate is good and oxygen levels. The camera temperature doesn't work after a year, keeps saying my room is freezing even tho it's nice and toasty. I purchased the extra large sock separately to grow with my little one. I love that the box comes with multiple socks and one for keft and right so you can switch out whole washing. Super easy to use. Doesn't bother my son at all while sleeping and will definitely wake parents up alarming. Everyone should have these!

إذا كنت تشتريه من داخل المملكة العربية في السعودية فهذه المراجعة تهمك. الجهاز قديم وغير متوافق مع الشبكات اللاسلكية الحديثة في المملكة مثل 5G . لقد جربته وكان الكاميرا تعمل في البداية ثم توقفت عن العمل بغير سبب واضح. وأيضا تم تجربة الجورب الذكي sock 3 وكان لا يعمل على الإطلاق ولا يمكن أن يشارك شبكة اللاسلكية. كانت رسائل الخطأ والمعاناة التي أخذت من وقتي الكثير لمحاولة اصلاحه. أعتقد أن جهازي يحتاج إلى تحديث. لقد قمت بإرجاعه وخسرت 25% من قيمته بسبب رسوم الاستيراد. في النهاية لا أنصح به أبدا من تاريخ هذه المراجعة.

Our son came 5 weeks early and his lungs weren't fully developed. This resulted in rapid breaths, wild swings in his blood/oxygen levels and heart rate that necessitated a NICU stay. We got this before heading home and he's been wearing it for a month now, every time he sleeps. This has been an absolute Godsend for my wife. She was so worried about him, as was I, but she was practically glued to his side. However, after watching the companion app readouts with religious fervor, she's slowly seen his stats read steady and it has made her feel much better. It's helped her relax quite a bit. She also appreciates that she can check on him when he's at home and she's running errands. It's accurate and gives great peace of mind. If your baby is having issues similar to ours, this is 100% worth it. There are some cons. I wish you could pair the sock directly to a smart phone so you could use the sock while you are out and about. Instead, it has to be paired to the base unit that is then hooked into your home internet. The sock has to stay in range of the base for it to read. From there, you use the companion app to connect to your network in order to check the stats. Secondly (and this is admittedly a small, almost insignificant issue), the battery in the sock doesn't last as long as it claims. After a full charge, the app will tell us the sock battery has about 16 hours of time left. However, it rarely lasts longer than 12-13 hours and the actual tike listed can vary greatly from how long it actually lasts. For us, our son sleeps a lot, so it stays on him for long stretches. It would be nice to have the battery time be a little more accurate.
