Versatile and Very Useful Repair Adhesive
Shoe Goo is an extremely useful product - not just for shoe repair. It is easy to use and effective in keeping soles on sneakers and modern rubber or synthetic shoes. It is also a very handy repair substance for those broken plastic problems. It hardens into an almost clear/white solid that locks loose or broken pieces into place. I use it regularly for repairs (today for example) like tacking a loose cord plug into place or finishing off a cut wire or cord. It dries quickly and will harden over night into a strong solid. It is versatile and this offering of two tubes will bring you hours of DIY tinkering and repair. I repaired the zipper on a plastic raincoat that lost the pull entirely. There were just two little prominences on the slider, but it was enough to give Shoe Goo something to grip to. I fashioned (sculpted) a new base for a cord pull - saving a jacket that was otherwise unusable. I also rescued a pair of damaged plastic reader "glasses" replacing a missing corner to restore the temple attachment. This product is very handy, and it pays for itself in repairs. Two tubes is just the right amount to have on hand for a start in Goo fun!

Works Excellently But Strong Odor
This Sof Sole Goo really binds shoe soles back on with incredible strength. I've done several pairs and all of them have held up well. It's even a good product for binding just about anything together. I've used it with good results on felt pads, metal, plastic, and rubber. I only have three complaints. First, the odor is extremely strong. It's really best to use this product outdoors on a windy day. Second, it's very difficult to remove from skin. If you accidentally get even the smallest drop on your hand you will regret not wearing disposable gloves and being more careful. And third, the tube dries out rather quickly. After opening a tube, I just assume that it'll be dried into a thick unusable paste within a few months or so. Therefore, it's best to buy the smallest tube that works for a particular task. Otherwise, this is one of the most effective products of its kind that I've tried.

Worked very good on my tennis shoes.
One of the soles on my older, but barely worn New Balance tennis shoes started coming loose and eventually came off (with a little help). I followed the Goo directions (especially the preparations) and successfully reattached the sole. I was really happy that I could wear my shoes again as they are an unusual 4 E wide size. After wearing them for just a week, the sole began coming off of the other shoe. One tube of the Goo was more than enough to satisfactorily repair both shoes.

Extra glue
The glue holds good, but it gets a little messy so you have to be careful
