Is this definitely the new 14mm chain & 15mm lock version?

I purchased one of these earlier this year and despite it being detailed as 11mm hexagonal chain links (presumably the older version) i still received 14mm hexagonal links (and 15mm shackle). This is a seriously good chain and lock but i wouldn't like to carry it anywhere on my bike as it is so heavy (which is to be expected).

The description says "1415 version - length 5' (150cm). weight: 10.80 lbs (4.91 kg)" the title says 1410 14mm chain and 60" long. Is this a mistake?

It looks like it might be. I bought the shorter / cheaper one and that is definitely a 1410 chain , 1m long 4.9 kg. According to kryptonite's website the 1415 is 1.5 m and 6.9 kg, so if you have selected the more expensive version you should have got the 1.5m chain.

Would this withstand an angle grinder, as I have just had my bike stolen in London and they used an angle grinder to destroy the chain?

I am sorry to hear that you lost your bike but regarding this Kryptonite Bicycle Chain l would say that a normal grinder would make a lot of noise and take a while before getting through if can. A diamond disc grinder would get through but how many bike theft carry that angle grinder with them. Hope this helps but l would say worth purchasing.
