Doing the job
Although you need to ensure that you are using the proper viscosity and type of fluid, I found this particular fluid an ideal type to replace my manual transmission and differential fluids in my classic ride. Now my transmission is shifting better than the OE fluid!

Good quality oil for my gearbox and rearend
I use Royal Purple Max Gear 75W-90 in both my AX15 manual transmission as it's "yellow-metal" safe for the bushings, and my Chrysler 8.25 rear end as this is an acceptable weight oil for it. Never had any problems with my transmission and since I'm rebuilding my rear-end I decided to spring for the quality stuff. Would recommend
