Well made, great materials and not too expensive!
Well made and perfect for my needs. Its pretty light weight, but feels like it can handle a decent amount of weight, especially since its a satchel and I personally don't like overloading a satchel. Molle straps are solid. I've got 2 bottle holders attached to the molle straps on both sides (brought separately). Whilst the inner pockets are great for holding bottles, when its hot and I have a very cold single wall bottle then the external bottle holders with mesh bottoms are perfect for that and for things like a wet poncho.

I like this a lot
I like this a lot. Good sturdy material, strong zips that 'hide' to aid with water resistance and a massive capacity when all is considered. It won't go bushcrafting until summer but of course the first thing I did when it arrived was load it up and it will keep me going for at least a day and a night if I use the straps underneath for my sleeping bag. The outer sealed pockets are pretty much the perfect size for a Mora companion, there are two unsealed pockets if an axe is your thing and there is plenty of scope to add additional pouches. Not really for taking to work if you are suited and booted, but otherwise very good in the city. Its lack of rigidity means that if you are carrying, say, a water bottle, gravity works in your favour pulling straight down rather than to one side and makes it very comfortable. I have nothing bad to say about this bag. There is a proper video out there (try H H's site) which you might find interesting.

Deceptively spacious
This is the second one of these I have bought, my son took the first for his PE kit. I bought a rucksack to replace it for taking bits to work but soon decided that the satchel was better. I like that there's an internal pocket on both sides that will hold a bottle upright to prevent it spilling and that you can get loads in it and hung off it using the molle if you want. It's expensive for a bag but the quality and versatility are well worth it.

Rugged, large capacity bag, strap can bite your neck
I really like this bag, as it has one large main space, in which is a smaller hang section for keys or similar. It also has sections at each end for Nalgeen water bottles which is a useful feature. The zips are KY and so far there's been no snagging or difficulty with them at all. There's a smaller front pocket which I like to keep items which I need to extract quickly, like my wallet and phone. The only issue with this is, when wearing the bag on your left hip, over your right shoulder, the zip toggle is behind you, so you have to reach round to grab it. The strap is connected by two click mounts which are easy to clip and un clip. The strap itself is long and easily adjustable. I did find that when wearing a t-shirt, the strap's edge sometimes dug into my neck which was uncomfortable. It came folded up and therefore was wrinkled for the first week or so of use, which was not exactly a good look, but some use has smoothed out its appearance. The main space of the back is very large, and I've been able for example to carry; a towel, a pack-a-mac, a nalgeen water bottle, a couple of books, a power bank with cables, a jumper and my wallet, phone and keys easily and with room to spare. Overall, it's a very nice bag, just watch out for that strap.

Excellent
Top marks to Helikon-Tex, this is an excellent bag. There are a ton of colours to chose from, I have Olive and it looks great. The Molle system makes it expandable too, I bought a couple of pouches for either end (phone, glasses etc.) and an insert. The bag itself is very capacious, with two massive internal water bottle holders at either end. Check out the reviews on YouTube to get a better idea. There are no hard sides or base, so the bag folds flat and also rides flat against the body when it is empty. This makes it very comfortable to carry when mostly empty, and also very lightweight. The main strap is robust too, even though it has two clips to attach it to the bag which at first glance might appear to be weak points – they are not. I carry a Boona Waterproof camera pouch inside the bag to keep my camera tech safe, otherwise things tend to rattle around a bit. The bag itself can carry a lot, perhaps more than is comfortable for my shoulder to carry, but on an “every day” outing, the bag itself is ideal and looks awesome.

Really nice bag
Bought this initially as a bit of a EDC, do-everything day bag, but it's so good I am getting a second one to replace my slightly oversized 5.11 gym bag. I really like the two mesh bottle pockets at either end, perfect place for them. Quality seems very high with neat and tight stitching and no feeling that it might fall apart in a few months. The shoulder strap is removalable but there's no other handle if you were to remove it; it would be better if the two clips holding the strap on were opposite male/female so you could clip them together as a carry handle, but they're both female on the bag. A hook and loop panel for attaching morale patches would have been nice though unless colour matched it would lose the nice minimal aesthetic it has. Minor complaints really, really great bit of kit.
A**!
A useful bag with many uses.
This is a well made bag and while it does not have a mass of different compartments and pockets it works really well for me. The bag is comfortable to wear and you can fit a surprising amount of stuff inside it. I particularly like the two internal pockets designed for holding litre water bottles etc upright, on either side of the main compartment. The small side pockets are useful for carrying tools such as knives or multi tools, the ones with the unstitched bottom for items that can be threaded through such as hatchets. Not something I carry on a work day! Works very well as an everyday messenger bag, especially for those who like EDC. Should be useful for day hikes too.

Really nice haversack
I have the bushcraft haversack and it’s amazing and I really was impressed. But I wanted something a little bigger I could put the swagman roll and poncho in (ok I’m turning into a helicon fan boy) and this does the trick. You do need to put the swagman roll in a compression sack, but I can fit shelter system/mat/light/tools/food/toiletries etc. in this bag with some space left over. So I can go for a walk and I have everything I need to chill and make camp and read my kindle. And possibly stay out overnight if I felt like it. I do have to carry the canteen on my belt though. Excellent comfortable strong and spacious bag. I put a molle dump pouch on the side to collect kindling etc. haven’t found a helicon product that disappointed me yet.

pratique
