Great for smaller bottles and jars. Not big enough for larger jars.
Most of this set is really useful for people who have a hard time opening things. The wine opener is just okay - nothing special. The gripper pads are better, but still just okay - you have to lay them just right to get the necessary grip. The big jar opener works really well for jars that aren't too big. If it can fit around the lid, it's incredibly helpful and gives you that extra leverage you need.My favorite tool by far though is the little multi-tool bottle opener. It works great for a lot of different tops, but most especially those water bottle tops they've made impossibly small. This tool is helpful not just for elderly people, but those of us with big meat-hands that can't get a grip on the tiny lids. The whole set is great, but totally worth it just for this one piece!

It is usable but for small jars
The rubber round didn't work for me either for a bigger jar. You have to strongly stretch the handles for a 3 inches top. It is cheap enough to keep it, but it would be a plus if these sellers would communicate clearly about the "capability" of these openers.

Did not work
What a disappointment, this was a waste of money. I could not use them to open jars, they just slid, and did not grip. Threw the whole lot into the trash. :(

Opens all sized lids for our needs in the household
I've recently been on the market for items that are tailored for those with a lack of mobility for my father who was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome in both of his hands/ wrists, and this set has everything he needs to open items from soda bottles to large jars. You simply slip this over the lid of the item you would like open, pinch the end slightly, and twist, and the lid is off. You reverse those steps to replace the lid, and it works flawlessly for his needs. Highly recommended as its great for people of all ages, with various mobility needs. The included bottle opener and lid gripper are extremely useful as well, but my main purpose of ordering this was for the main component.

Mostly Good
I love jar openers like this. We get overtightened water bottles all the time and use the smaller setting for them. It's also great for those large sauce jars as well. The bottle opener is nice and also functional. THe silicone trivets aren't that useful due to their size. Lastly- the corkscrew is junk. The rivets fell out the first time I used it- rendering it completely broken and useless. 4 stars since they included a poorly bad wine opener.

Doesn't fit large jars
PROS- Beautiful color- Primary jar opener works well for lids that fit in it- Can open juice and water bottle caps as wellCONS- The jar-opening mat that comes with this doesn't work any better than a dish towel. I found it slightly slippery and therefore not all that useful. Plus it comes bent inside the box and, unlike silicone, doesn't go back to its original shape. I stays bent. I threw it away since a dish towel is quicker to grab.- Primary jar opener does not fit larger lids like pickle jars. It's the bigger items that I have trouble opening since I have small hands, so it's disappointing that this doesn't fit those. The smaller bottle opener has a few functions. Thankfully it has several diagrams printed on the handle to help you figure out how to use it for different situations. The one I didn't figure out on my own was to use the bottom of the tool to lift up soda can tabs. You work the tab into the slit and then lift up. For water bottle lids, you press the colored part over the top and then twist. If you don't press hard enough it doesn't grip, because like the mat it's not as grippy as I would expect. You can also pop mason jar lids with this, provided it's got a slight lip for this tool to grab onto.
