DiBanGu Mens Striped Tie Silk Woven Necktie and Pocket Square Cufflinks Tie Clip Set Wedding Business Formal Gift Tie for Men

A while back I purchased a Van Heusen dress shirt in " Purple Velvet " color. It's about as purple as purple can get. I _never_ thought I'd be able to find a necktie to match it, but the "Purple Black Striped" DiBanGu necktie is a *PERFECT* match for the shirt. Wow! As for the tie, it may be made of silk, but it has some thickness and heft to it, and the minute you pull it out of the box you can clearly see that this is a high-quality necktie, and I'm rather impressed with it. The color is sharp and the craftsmanship clean. Striped ties are kind of 50:50 (IMO)... many are 'meh' or unimaginative to look at (still leaps and bounds better than paisley!), but others can border on remarkable. This particular "Purple Black Striped" DiBanGu tie falls in the latter category, and is a classic business "power tie" that can't help but be noticed. With regard to the rest of the set (handkerchief, cuff links, and tie bar), I'll never use any of it, so it doesn't really matter to me. That said, I didn't think the other items lived up to the tie. The handkerchief is (most likely) made from the same silk material as the tie, and thus is not a linen type fabric like a handkerchief ought to be; it's thin & flimsy. The tie bar "looks" like it's made of pot metal and is ultra thin and unimpressive to look at. Lastly, the cuff links are the worst of all (IMO). Also, the ones I received don't look like the ones in the photos (they're actually better). Mine are purple with one (and only one) white stripe in the center. Fortunately, I didn't buy this set because I was looking for a "set". I bought it solely for the tie, and with that I am quite pleased. The rest is meaningless to me. My 5-star rating is based solely on the tie alone.

I wanted a unique red tie for when I dress up for events and such. This thing certainly fits the bill. The design looks great. The colors pop! The tip is sharply pointed, but slightly off center. However, it perfectly lines up with the stripes. Which I'd say is impressive. The tag says silk and polyester. The shell is probably silk and the center polyester. Which makes it a bit thick and stiff. I see quality marks such as proper stretch and nonstretch at critical points. The tie features duo keepers. One of the tie shell material and the other a polyester brand tag. The pocket square is also super sharp with a rolled and oversewn edge. It's roughly 9" x 9.5" nonstandard. That's smaller than normal and presents an issue with folding. The cufflinks are cheap. They show signs of production tarnish and glue overfill. The centers are also from the shell cloth. However, the set I received do not match. One is heavily red striped and matches the tie. The other is thick black stripes that show some red. I can see them breaking after several uses. The tie bar is ok. It has a different mechanical design than others I own. The face is meant to be a satin rough. Mine is pockmarked, like it was dropped on the floor or dirty when chromed. The back edges are a little sharp. The clasp is three parts instead of two. Seams sturdy but is misaligned. The foot sits just off the edge. I can see this damaging the tie and shirt with use. Overall, I like the tie. It'll work well for me. The accessories are not an added value, in my case. The tie clip and cufflinks will probably be thrown in the scrap metal. I might use the pocket square for more simple folds. I got what I paid for and did not really care about the extras. Slightly disappointed with the pocket square. If it were made to a more exact quality size around 11" x 11", then it would add value.

Exact length a necktie should be, in order to tie a Windsor knot! Quality is high end, color as expected from comparing to the ad. I wore it for a 'Wicked' themed Gala and the color matched perfect for this event. Comes with a little pocket scarf, which added a nice touch. Accidentally spilled some chocolate sauce on it and it came right out with a napkin and water, without staining. Whew!
