Excellent knife makes food prep easy!
This is a great paring knife. I had previously purchased the All-Clad 6" knife and loved it so much that I wanted to get the paring knife as well. It's extremely sharp and has great balance. The paring knife makes short work of slicing tomatoes and so many other vegetables. Both knives have saved me time and effort in my food prep. I wished I had purchased them sooner!

This is a very nice feeling and sharp knife. It feels really nicely weighted in my hand.

Top quality parer, my favorite general purpose kitchen prep knife
Excellent paring knife, I leave it on my kitchen cutting board and it gets used for all cutting tasks all day, every day. Pleasing shape and balance. I use a Zwilling hone to keep it razor sharp. I've been an All-Clad fan ever since buying my current cookware 25 years ago, both the cookware and this paring knife have a practical quality that you can feel as soon as you pick them up. Maybe a bit too nice for professional use, but all of their products are up to the task, consistently. Highly recommended if you like commercial quality, tamed to suit your home.

Buy something else.
Bought four knives. Pricy but I trusted All-Clad. Two of the knives have already rusted. Knives that cost that much should not rust. Very disappointed.

Best knife!
This is the best knife! Very sharp and comfortable to work with. No rust or signs of wear after frequent use and washing (hand washing only). I only wash knives by had and dry immediately. This knife has held up nicely.

Amazing little knife - a pleasure to use. Sharp and well-balanced.
Wow! Well, it did not take me long to get an impression and to form an opinion as to the design and functionality of this paring knife. As I mentioned above – WOW – I've also attached a video as well. I’ve never owned finer cutlery, clearly (LOL), as my experience with this little knife has been outstanding. I’ve always used lower cost knives in the kitchen, and they have gotten me through many a ruined meal due to my terrible chef skills, but frankly, I’ve never known what I was missing….until I tried this All-Clad knife. Sharp, precise, comfortable, controllable, compact, and sturdy – those are just some of the words I would use to describe it. It is abundantly clear to me that this is a fine piece of precision cutlery. It is well-balanced and it is a pleasure to use. It cuts so easily, and so smoothly, that it is actually fun to use. The “care instructions” say to “handwash only & towel dry immediately” – I’m not sure how long I will be able to remain cognizant of that before I end up throwing it in the dishwasher with the rest of the utensils. I don’t see what the harm would be aside from possible aesthetics in terms of staining or discoloring the knife. So how would I rate this knife and would I recommend it? I would say that for the serious chef or for someone who fancies finer cutlery, the answer is simple – I would recommend it – it’s a five-star knife, and it’s far better than any I have ever owned. The one caveat here is the price – it’s a $50 knife, and that’s probably why I have never owned one this nice, lol. So ultimately, if you have the money to spend on this knife, I don’t suspect you will be disappointed. 1/22/2024 UPDATE: I have been using this knife, almost daily, since mid-September of 2023, and it is holding up remarkably well. The blade is still razor/laser sharp, and I have done nothing since I got it to sharpen the edge. It appears this is one of those situations where you do in fact get what you pay for - 50 bucks gets you a darn nice quality knife with a resilient edge. Hands-down this is the best knife I have ever had in my kitchen.

Super Sharp & Easy to Hold!
Even though the description states its made from German Stainless Steel, the final knife is still made in China. I do feel that $50 is kinda steep for a knife that's made in China. Its packaged pretty well in a heavy duty box. This pairing knife is very sharp. You don't have to apply much pressure at all for it to cut through anything. It was able to cut tomatoes & green onions into very thin slices and peel potatoes quickly/easily. I prefer working with a small sharp knife when I cook over a large chef's knife- and this does the job for almost everything. It has a rivet handle and it's comfortable to hold. I really like that the knife extends all through the handle vs knives that could possibly detach from their handles. Like other quality knives, the care instructions recommends to "handwash only and dry immediately" to keep it sharp and rust-free. I would definitely recommend this knife to someone who doesn't want to purchase a whole knife set, doesn't want to spend +$100 on 1 knife, but wants to invest in a decent quality knife for their collection. It also comes with a Limited Lifetime Guarantee. I'll test this knife out and if it "stays sharp" like stated, I'll purchase a few others from All-Clad.
