I used it on an old truck I'm working on. Some of these parts used to be chrome but 37 years wore them down. So I decided on this color for side-mirror frames, trailer hitch ball, master cylinder cover, dip stick handles, front grill and a few other places where I don't want flat black. BTW, it looks good with flat black. It's just a little bit of 'pop' in color. The only reason I could not give it five stars is I can't confirm the rust prevention aspect. But I'm sure dozens of others have. I REALLY liked a product called Ospho ($12/quart) to put on the rust before I put on Rustoleum. It turns rust black. Then when I put Rustoleum on I know the rust has already been stopped. So it's kinda like wearing a belt and suspenders. Review: Works well, good brand, too!
