A like-new condition 40-inch 144hz 1440p monitor with full USB type C docking for £307 was crazy, so even though I was initially in the market for something 2-3x that price I couldn't pass it up.It's a big monitor, intended to be used at a distance, which is perfect for me. The area is almost twice that of a 27 inch monitor. At this size I can read on-screen text without increasing the UI scale so there's tons of space for productivity.The biggest con is that the lack of curve causes the edges to appear slightly darker than the centre, but after a week this didn't bother me any more. The second biggest con is the typical LCD grey-like blacks, but for the price it's not a deal breaker.Enabling HDR is a must, and over USB C this will require the cable supplied in the box for the necessary bandwidth. This fixes the green-tinted and flat colours it otherwise has, and now I'm impressed with its warm, natural and vibrant colour presentation and strong brightness. Video and games really pop and look stunning, as you can see from my photo of Assassin's Creed Odyssey below.Even if its pixel response time figures fall behind other 144hz LCD monitors, motion looks good and plenty clear enough in person.Overall, super good deal and I'll be keeping this monitor for a while.

It is excellent well built monitor. It is big but not too big for my desk which is only 65cm deep. It works in 120hz when connected through displayport what is very important to me as it is double speed of the standard 60hz. It can go up to 144hz but I do not use it at all. It only goes up to 100hz over HDMI. Personally I feel that there is not much blur like many people and reviewers complained about. It is big upgrade from my 32" Viewsonic monitor. There is way more space available on the desktop, colours can be set to pop out of the screen, menu is very comfortable to use, contrast level is good enough. I am pretty impressed with the quality of the picture and the feeling of smooth movement in 120hz. It works great so far. Also there is EU and UK power lead included and HDMI and DisplayPort cable as well. I definitey recommend this monitor to anybody who wants bigger screen than standard 32" 16:9 monitor - it is real solid upgrade. At the moment I feel that anything bigger would be just too much but if there was a 42" version I would probably buy it instead and upgrade the desk to 80cm depth.

Incredibly happy with this monitor. It's a large monitor without being ridiculous.It's not too big that you'd rather have a curved screen.I've seen some reviews saying the remote has a narrow ir beam so you have to point it directly at it. Not sure if they fixed that in later builds, as I can point the remote in a totally different direction and it works.I bought this to use for work, and some mild gaming. The single USB C cable (not included, you'll have to buy one, make sure to buy one that supports display as well as charging, searching for USB C 3.2 should find you what you need) makes for a much cleaner desk setup. And worked straight away with my work laptop.I had some trouble connecting my steam deck, as it doesn't seem to support the 144hz refresh, but dropping it to 120Hz resolved the issue.Only had it a few days but so far very happy.

I wanted to upgrade from my 32-inch curve monitor, and after much research, I felt that AOC’s AGON AG405UXC 40-inch gaming monitor would be the ideal choice. This monitor fits comfortably on my 5 x 3-foot desk. In fact, as it is supplied with a wall mounting (VESA) 100x100mm, I opted to connect it to a monitor arm bracket that could easily handle its 9.53kg weight!The box contained the necessary instructions, cables, a screwdriver, and a remote control. The setup was as easy as 1-2-3. A 40-inch monitor with a 21:9 aspect ratio, 3440x1440 resolution at 144hz refresh rate, super-fast 1ms response time, and High Dynamic Range is pure joy! Its colour palette delivers vibrant and natural-looking images due to its true 8-bit colour graphics. While I am not a ‘gamer’, I know that the gaming community is serious about the overall quality of gaming monitors, so I trusted the Amazon customer reviewers who have described this monitor as ‘great value’.After fine-tuning, I achieved outstanding picture quality without needing the Low Blue Light feature! I have sensitive eyes but have not experienced any eyestrain after hours of use. The text is sharp and crisp; viewing at 150% zoom is awesome!Several interesting features of this monitor include its ability to connect two PCs using the same keyboard and mouse, and the Picture-by-Picture mode. The remote control is a treasure; it is also the key to switching the monitor on and off!My experience with the AGON AG405UXC monitor is positive and I can confidently recommend it.

Really enjoying this monitor. I think there are probably more advanced screens out there, but I really wanted the larger size for the Ultrawide. Most Ultrawide are only 32 inches, where as this is 40, giving a brilliant viewing experience. It has plenty of connectivity, build in speakers, and a USB hub (which I find I use a lot as I've reached the capacity on my PC for USB connections).

It works well, suits my requirements as i mainly just need a large screen for work, rather than for gaming.Fully adjustable on terms of height, swivel etc...No issues

Really good monitor. I don’t use it for gaming so can’t comment on that but for work it’s brilliant. I plug my laptop into it and am able to split the screens so when I’m working on 2 different spreadsheets it makes life so much easier. It’s an absolute beast!

This is basically an office monitor dressed up as a gaming monitor.For work it is perfect, it’s like having two full sized monitors side by side.Text is nice and crisp and colours are good due to the higher than normal contrast ratio, it can also do two different PC inputs side by side.But for gaming it’s not very good, the response time is just too slow so on the fastest setting it has very noticeable ghosting.If it’s your first screen you may not notice but if coming from a faster screen you definitely will notice.Don’t just take my word for it check out the YouTube reviews they all say the exact same thing.Get the MSI one instead as that can do gaming and office work but with a slightly lower contrast ratio.Update:After playing around with the settings and making sure everything was set up properly it’s actually not that bad for gaming.It still isn’t quite as smooth as some other IPS screens but as a budget big screen option it’s not that bad at all.

J'voulais absolument un écran avec une dalle IPS et au moins 144Hz et franchement j'suis bluffé par la qualité , même le packaging est de bonne facture, rien n'a été laissé au hasard , j'pense pas qu'on puisse trouver mieux dans cette fourchette de prix (entre 500 et 1000 Euros)La colorimétrie et les noirs sont profond le temps de réponse est parfait (même sur les jeux de tir compétitif sa change la vie tellement c'est nerveux)Par contre je ne le recommande pas si vous n'avez pas assez de place ou avec un bureau trop petit , car l'idéal c'est d'être à "MINIMUM" 1mètre de l'écran, sinon la tête bougera et la c'est pas bon du tout...

Nach langem hin und her mit der Spedition kam das Display mal an und ich bewerte hier auch explizit das Display, nicht den Versand.Das Display ist von der Höhe wie ein 32" Display, passt also gut zu meinem anderen Display das hier noch ist. Ich habe damit von einem 3x32" Setup auf 1x40" und 1x32" gewechselt und das bei gleicher Displayhöhe.Das Gerät wird sowohl für Office als auch Gaming genutzt. Die Bildqualität ist großartig und der integrierte KVM Switch macht seine Arbeit gut. Ich wechsle beinahe täglich zwischen Mac und Windows Gaming PC und dank der mitgelieferten Fernbedienung geht das auch super einfach.HDR funktioniert am Mac einwandfrei, beim Gaming sehe ich kein Schlieren oder ähnliches (wird von einer 4090 bespielt). Einziger Punkt auf den man achten muss: Die meisten meiner DisplayPort Kabel haben offenbar einen etwas zu kurzen Stecker (dabei alles gute Kabel von hier) und haben daher im Display selbst nicht connected, das mitgelieferte Kabel funktioniert aber ohne Murren.
