read instructions on what not to do when using
2nd one i have had..use especially on outside pots in summer to check for dryness levels..the other one i had I made the mistake of just leaving in the dirt in a pot.... READ INSTRUCTIONS ..definite NO NO

I got a bad one
I purchased this item in September 2023. Went to use it a few days ago, and the bottom of the probe remained in the ground. Obviously defective, and I am very disappointed. I cannot recommend this product for this reason alone.

easy to read the result. seems accurate. not bulky. and it is comfortable to hold and place in the soil.
