Dyna-Living Electric Commercial Pizza Maker - 1900W Stainless Steel Indoor Oven with 12 Inch Pizza Pan and Stone for Restaurant or Home Use

First of all....the positives....the oven works. It gets hot...greater than 611 degrees F (where my infrared thermometer tops out). It also looks good. I have a baking steel that is exactly 16"x16" and it fits (tightly) into the space where the supplied stone fits. The opening of the oven is exactly 16 7/8" and the width of the oven is exactly 22 1/2"...the depth (not including the door or knobs) is 18 11/16".Now the negatives. I specifically chose this oven instead of a few others, b/c the shipping delivery date was advertised as Aug 22. Right up until it shipped, the arrival date was still estimated as Aug 22. Then, on the day it shipped, the arrival date jumped to Sep 11. This to me, is simply unacceptable. I can completely understand shipping delays that are out of the control of the seller...but in this case, what should have happened, is when the seller is made aware that the arrival date would be drastically different from what was advertised, the seller should have then asked the buyer if the delay is acceptable before proceeding. (the item did actually arrive on Sep 3...which is still 13 days later than it was supposed to arrive).Also, as has happened to others....it arrived with damage. There are two dented sections on the exterior, and on the interior...in the rear corners, the walls of the oven are dented, and one side shows a welding burn (I think). I'm not sure if the interior dents are shipping damage, or poor workmanship from the factory though (leaning toward the latter).The knobs are cheap plastic. The temp knobs function normally...the bottom one...the timer...the knob plastic is so flimsy that it turns without being able to turn the metal post that it is attached to. I may be able to make it stronger by filling the backside of the knob with epoxy...but I haven't done that yet to test the theory. The instructions do state that the timer can be used to power the oven if the main oven switch is left in the off position...but that does not work. It seems all the timer actually does, is act as a timer (which is totally fine...but the knob shouldn't just freely rotate without being able to adjust the timer)

For me, the main selling points or the metal legs, the 1900 watt heating elements, and the 16 inch Stone. The front opening is actually 16.75 in. Plenty of room for 16-in metal Pizza Peel. Heat up time is fairly quick, depending on how high he said it. But for the most part, it's ready in 30 minutes. I also like the idea that it has separate power and light switches. A lot of the others have dropped the power switch.I would definitely recommend this to a friend. In fact, I'm thinking about buying a second one!
