I noticed my 2nd toe was crossing over my big toe, it was also starting to curl under. I had pain in the ball of my foot for a few months prior to this. After speaking to a specialist I realised that I had torn my plantar plate. A symptom of this condition is for the 2nd toe to curl/ cross over. Luckily I’m in the early stages so I could take action to correct my toe alignment before it gets worse. I have been using this toe corrector with toe socks and I’m so happy to see it’s (gently) making a difference. They are sturdier than other silicon products I have purchased but they do allow some flex too. My toe is definitely flattening a bit and the pain has reduced. These may not be for everyone, as said they gently correct the alignment. I Imagine that if my toe was left for longer then fixing the problem would take more effort and I’d see less quick results. Hopefully I can strengthen my toes with physio now and continue to stop any further damage with these great little inventions! I will leave an update in a month. (Current date is 18th Sept 2023) Update: (22nd April 2024) My toe is back to normal. See my three photos, one with toe socks and my before and after shots too. I wore the middle size splint with toe socks most of the time, but sometimes if I wanted to wear normal socks I would wear the smallest splint, both were comfortable to wear for long periods of time. After 6 months, my toe is back into perfect alignment and I'm absolutely delighted that this splint worked so well for me! Thanks so much 😁

I’ve had multiple problems with my foot, I’m always trying something different, so thought I’d give them a go to help with a potential hammer toe. They are a bit uncomfortable. After showing them to the podiatrist, he advised against them. I would say check with a podiatrist before buying.

Even the largest ones cut off the circulation in your toes! I have size 4 feet and skinny toes and within minutes my toes were turning blue - the circulation was being cut off...

Comfortable and easy fit. and serves . Value for money.

uncomfortable to tight, although have small feet & toes. Colour of toes changed to white as if blood supply was being cut off. I cannot see how these can help. I wouldn’t recommend

These little toe protectors do work for me, but would depend on your exact foot condition. I use them for my 4th toe which had become curled up and painful to walk on - a hammer toe. Placed on fhe end of my toe they slightly lift the toe which prevents it from being pounded when walking. They are quite squidgy so pliable, but firm enough to maintain that support. They leave a red mark on the toe after removal, but nothing bad i just massage the toe a bit. You get several of these in a pack, so if you are using them for multiple toes you might need a more roomy shoe to accommodate, ie trainer with largish toe box.

My husband has a slight foot drop and these are ideal for keeping his hammer toe off the ground, will be renewing our order in the future

I've had two foot surgeries, that have left one of my toes crossing over another. I wear these all day, even barefoot. They are comfortable, keep my toes straight and, because they are clear, are barely noticeable. I highly recommend them. I purchased one package and have only had to use one so far. Easy to clean. Fits perfectly!

While Both Feet need the Support Pad, just tryin on Worst one first. I stubbornly tried an 8 hour first day, and was sore. Now wearing 3 hrs first thing in AM and the foot feels much better. Consider this as a Brace similar to wearing Dental Braces - when first worn or tightened may hurt "different hurt from the hammer toes themselves". But as the muscles get used to the new alignment it feels good. They wash easily and dry overnight, and have stayed in place wearing socks, or barefoot in slippers. Have only tried one size in the pack but easy to put on. Swollen toes may need the larger size - soft flexible and in that way slightly adjustable to go over the toe joints.
