Incredible value, better than bigger names.
I’ve tried more mainstream PSU brands in the past, and they’ve always had some issue whether it’s noisy fans, inconsistent power delivery, or overheating. But this Redragon PSU007 has been an absolutelyconsistent! With my rigged-out build (tons of RGB, multiple components, and a heavy load of peripherals), I was worried about stability, but this PSU has held strong without breaking a sweat. The 80 Plus Gold certification and fully modular design were exactly what I needed for efficient power management and keeping my case looking clean. The compact size is also a huge bonus since I didn’t have to compromise on space. And let’s not forget the RGB fan! It not only looks great but stays impressively quiet even under heavy loads, thanks to the smart ECO low-noise feature. No issues on shutdown times, my computer turns off quickly and quietly. Amazing value!I’m really impressed with the quality 100% Japanese capacitors show they didn’t cut corners, and it’s been rock solid powering everything in my build. Even compared to bigger-name brands, this PSU stands out as a reliable, high-performance option. If you’re looking for a power supply that can handle an extensive setup and deliver top-notch performance, Redragon is the way to go!

10/10 budget, reliable PSU. Reddragon does it again!!
Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 starsFor: Budget-conscious builders seeking efficiency, quiet operation, and modular cablesAgainst: Limited brand reputation, higher noise levels under heavy load, potentially tight cable managementPerformance: 4.5 out of 5 starsThe Redragon PSU007 packs a potent punch for its price. Its 850W output makes it suitable for even demanding gaming and workstation builds. The 80+ Gold certification ensures high efficiency, translating to lower power bills and less heat generation. In everyday use, it runs whisper-quiet, remaining near-silent under moderate loads. However, push it hard with a hefty power draw, and the fan noise can become noticeable, though still within acceptable limits.Features: 4 out of 5 starsThis PSU ticks all the essential boxes. It's fully modular, allowing you to use only the cables you need, improving airflow and aesthetics inside your case. Japanese capacitors and various circuit protections promise long-term reliability and component safety. It also boasts RGB lighting, though its implementation might be considered basic compared to flashier alternatives.Value: 5 out of 5 starsThis is where the PSU007 truly shines. Compared to established brands offering similar specs, the Redragon undercuts the price significantly. For budget-conscious builders seeking a reliable and efficient power supply, it's a hard bargain to beat.Things to Consider:Brand Reputation: Redragon is a relatively new name in the PSU market, so some users might prefer sticking with established brands for peace of mind.Noise Levels: While quiet under moderate loads, the fan noise becomes noticeable under heavy workloads, which might be a concern for noise-sensitive users.Cable Management: The modular cables are handy, but the included ones might be slightly short for spacious cases, potentially requiring extra care during installation.Final Verdict:The Redragon PSU007 850W Gold is a compelling option for budget-minded builders seeking a reliable and efficient power supply. Its quiet operation, modular cables, and 80+ Gold certification offer fantastic value for the price. While the limited brand reputation, potential increase in noise under heavy loads, and potentially short cables are minor drawbacks, they don't overshadow the overall strong performance and affordability. If you're on a tight budget and prioritize performance over brand recognition, the Redragon PSU007 is a Goldilocks-worthy choice, providing just the right power at a budget-friendly price, with just a few thorns to watch out for during installation and heavy workloads.Note:This review is based on my research and analysis of the Redragon PSU007 850W Gold. DEAD ON ARRIVAL. PLEASE DON’T BUY
CHANGING MY REVIEW CAUSE AFTER REACHING OUT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE EVERYTHING WORKS. It’s beautiful!! 🥹So if you have any issues just reach out to customer serviceI’m so sad, this is my first time building a pc. Spent months saving for the parts and then 8 hours yesterday putting everything together just to realize the pc wasn’t turning on, after another hour we realized the PSU wasn’t working, did all the troubleshooting but NOTHING worked. I ordered this months ago so I can’t even return it now :( just save yourself some time and money and get a different brand

Works great and the RGB is nice
Power supply works great out of the box. Solid construction and solid performance. Part of me wishes the RGB features were controllable within windows, but the other part of me realizes I do not need my power supply to light up and it is only a minor convenience of this age we are living where everything is always RGB. That being said, the cables came in a flimsy box compared to the nice bags I am used to. Also includes a little sticker sheet to decorate with.

Very clean PSU
This PSU is very quiet at idle, and I have the white 650W variant. Overall, I absolutely love this PSU, this is the PSU used in this $700 budget build commision. The i7-6800K & RX 5700, plus everything else, only uses around 575W. The RGB fan looks nice, but I do wish that the fan had a cord to connect to my fan hub, as I have to change the colors seperately with the red LED button. The PSU does also come with very nice white cables, although I used extensions for the GPU, CPU, and mobo PWR. Overall, really like it, very nice lighting, from the 3rd pic, and has nice power consumption. Again, it’s very quiet, although SLIGHTLY noisy under stress, but still very good temps. The PSU is also somewhat light when I took it out of the packaging, but that was without the full mod cables attached. Build is still lighter than the previous one that used the same case, and a smaller GPU, but larger mobo. Overall, I really love it, and definitely will use it again in the future, possibly in my next personal build for the 1300w.

Excellent performance
Great product, I've got this a few months now and had problems with it. The fan color is rgb as advertised. But does not sync with the system. It's stand alone rgb and looks nice.

Einfach Klasse!
Preis/Leistung stimmt.

850w PSU with RGB!
It's an amazing PSU. It's also made by Redragon a brand which I trust. If you are gonna get this make sure to have enough room in your case and that you're not hiding it. It's amazing. For a gold certified case, you get a built in RGB Fan, all the connectors needed, the plug (duh), and it's nice and compact and will suit any build.
