Attsky 51mm Espresso Puck Screen for 51mm Portafilter

I bought this puck screen to keep my group head clean after coffee sticking to it and making cleaning difficult. All I can say is this does the job! It might help water distribution within the portafilter but really it keeps my group head pristine! It's well made, easy to clean and cheaper than other screens of similar quality. An easy recommendation for those looking for one.

Works perfectly, the thickness and durability are excellent

Keep in mind I’m a complete beginner to espresso. Got this to use with my gaggia classic pro. I mainly got this because espresso grounds kept making a mess on the group head. This definitely kept it cleaner! Maybe it was just dumb luck, but I pulled my best espresso shot yet the first time I used this. I measured with caliper and width is 58.42mm, thickness is 1.75mm. Looking forward to testing it more, but definitely adding it to my daily routine.

So far so good, prior to use my coffee was loose and thickness was not always consistent but creates good qualify. Value for the money since reusable which is great. Size fit as description states.

I’ve never had a portafilter screen before, this is my first. I like that it keeps the machine clean (breville bambino) but it’s not a perfect fit in an aftermarket portafilter basket I bought…only slightly tight (and maybe it’s supposed to be) no issues at all with brewing through it. But I have noticed that it’s starting to hold onto some grounds and that’s after rinsing it off after each use…this too may also be normal, but 4 stars only because it appears that I may have to purchase another one soon and I’ve only had the one for a little over a month.

As a barista this is a very nice addition to my delonghi 15 bar machine! It works super well and helps screen my shots nicely!

Very first time I put this on top of the espresso coffee puck in the portafilter and pulled my espresso base for a cappuccino, I was impressed with the SUBSTANTIAL improvement in the quality of the drink as a whole. The screen allowed both a more even distribution of the espresso into the cup and a thicker, more compact and visible crema on top the espresso. This meant that when pouring a small amount of steamed milk on top of the crema over an inverted teaspoon and then spooning the frothed milk on top of that, I had a perfect 4 layer - espresso, crema, steamed milk, milk froth - cappuccino, clearly visible through my glass 15oz coffee mug! On the very first time I succeeded in pulling the best cappuccino I have made in over 15 years!!! If you are serious about your espresso or cappuccino or latte, get this, because you'll be VERY glad you did!

My first order was really good and there were no issues. It fits very snuggly. My problem arose when the second one I ordered arrived and it came with a bit of rust on the bottom side. This was very disappointing as it was completely new and unused…
